This deserves negative -5 ➖⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a single mother of 9 who just moved into a new apartment a month ago, I came into this store hopeful and excited to finally make my home feel comfortable for my children. Instead, I left feeling completely frustrated, misled, and honestly disrespected. I was referred by a coworker and explained my situation clearly from the beginning how long I’ve been at my job (over a year) and that most of my references would be coworkers since my family is in New York City and New Jersey. After hearing all of that, instead of being transparent with me, the employee encouraged me to go ahead and pick out furniture I liked. So I did. I took my time looking through items, thinking I would be able to move forward and finally get things my family needs. Then I was told to complete an application requiring SIX references. Even though my family and close connections are out of state, I still made it happen calling family members, confirming addresses, and spending about 25 minutes completing everything. Only AFTER all of that, I was told I would only qualify for $30–$50 a week due to my references being long distance and my job history information that was already provided BEFORE I picked out furniture and BEFORE I filled out the application. To make matters more confusing, I was then told I could only take a dining set because it was under $30 a week, even though the living room set I selected was also under $30 a week. That inconsistency made the situation even more frustrating and unclear. That is what made this experience so upsetting. As a mother trying to build a stable, comfortable home for my children, my time and effort matter. If that was going to be the outcome, I should have been told that upfront. Instead, I was allowed to go through the entire process, get my hopes up, and waste valuable time that I could have spent exploring other options for my family. To make things worse, when I asked for my application back so my personal information could be destroyed, I was told I could not have it because it “belongs to the business.” That is extremely concerning given the amount of personal and family information required. I even called another location hoping for clarification, but instead was met with a rude attitude. After contacting the store I applied at, the representative returned to the phone, told me to “just go get the paper,” and hung up on me. This experience was not just inconvenient it was discouraging. No one should be made to feel this way, especially when they are simply trying to provide a comfortable home for their children. Businesses should operate with honesty, transparency, and respect for people’s time and personal information. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to ask detailed questions upfront before providing personal information or going through their application process.

Only gave one star in order to post. Bad customer service. Walked in and the lady continued doing whatever she was doing then after a while she stated she would be right with me yet continued doing whatever it was.

We bought a refrigerator & washing machine from them at the same time. The refrigerator broke on me twice before we even paid it off & they took forever to send someone out to fix it. When they finally came out to replace the bottom shelf & hinges on the freezer it broke again 1 hr after they had just "repaired" it! The washing machine has broken 3 times & they had to eventually replace it w/a completely brand new one due to all the issues we had w/it. Once again, they took so long to get the repairs done. However, if you happen to be late w/a pymt they constantly call from the minute they open until they close & they call everyone associated w/that person whether or not they are on the acct or a reference, simply because they live at that address. How they manage to get that info is fairly easy I'm sure but, I DID NOT make these purchases my family members did therefore, I DON'T appreciate the constant harassment & having to block all of their numbers. I will NEVER allow my family members to purchase anything there again!

The service was good at first but then all pf a sudden it turned horrible. You tell them to take an item off the account cause your not paying for something you don't have. Tjen they harass you if your late when you've asked them to make it to where it's a monthly payment instead of weekly cause you get money once a month. Please be careful when you go there or go somewhere else.
