I was purchasing a couch but needed to return it due to financial reasons. Very pushy & unpleasant

Anyone rating this place highly has more money than sense. I was in the market for a new dresser and chest. Looked at a nice looking piece but upon opening a drawer I realized it was not solid wood. Extremely light flimsy cheap quality. I went to close the drawer from the left side of the drawer. The right side caught on something and the entire drawer bent like it was about to snap. I looked at the price tag. $800! Pure insanity. They are taking advantage of people. Other places in town are selling high quality solid wood pieces for the same price. Big lots in Asheville sells things of this quality but for about 1/3 the price.

Bought ourselves a new massaging recliner and chase lounge chair. LOVE! We've been with Badcock for years, have purchased a lot of things and their services is always fantastic and delivery/set-up is FANTASTIC! Thanks Badcock.

Don't trust the signs on the furniture or the associates. MAKE THEM DO A WRITTEN QUOTE! was quoted price by 2 associates in person . I told them I needed to verify measurement and I would call and make a payment for delivery . They advised me I could not call and pay over the phone I had to come in. So I go in the sale sign is still on the love seat but not on the sofa. A new associate informs me oh no that's the wrong price this price is for half the love seat. Evidently it comes in sections I have never seen it price like this in the store before I have seen it on information list that the Associates have but never posted as the price on the piece of furniture. First the salesman told me oh this is the price of the recliner not the loveseat then he back tracks again and says no this is for a module which is part of the love seat. When I call corporate they've reached out to him and he said yes it was Associates error but we're not going to honor the quote and we'll give her 10% off. I go in with cash money to purchase couch and loveseat I leave with nothing but a really really bad opinion of the sales practices of Badcock

I’ve shopped here in the past with good experience. I went in Friday for the Presidents Day sale. Found a few pieces I was interested in (of course not part of the sale). Had to find someone to “help” me. He answered my questions but I wouldn’t call him helpful. Went back in today to see if I would have better luck……. This time I wasn’t even acknowledged. And there was only 1 other customer that I could see. Had a much better experience at a competitor - helpful without being pushy.

I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Avery was my salesperson and she was wonderful! No sales pressure and carried an ottoman around the store so I could compare colors without a complaint. The delivery was on time and the drivers were wonderful. All the furniture seems to be good quality. I would highly recommend Waynesville Badcock.
