The manager, Omar, demonstrates a high level of unprofessionalism. Communication is extremely difficult, as he does not speak English and his Spanish is delivered so rapidly that it is nearly impossible to understand. Rather than working toward solutions, he consistently places blame on customers and shows little interest in resolving issues or improving the customer experience. I have rented from other Rent-A-Center locations, including in different states, and have never encountered this degree of poor service. Unfortunately, there appears to be no option to transfer my account or payments to another store. After reading other customer feedback, it is clear that I am not alone in experiencing these problems. This reflects poorly on Rent-A-Center as a company in the West Kendall area. Allowing such behavior to continue suggests that the corporation does not prioritize customer satisfaction. Based on past experiences, I expect they will claim they cannot identify the issue and leave matters unresolved.

Extremely unprofessional and harassing experience We rented a laptop from this Rent-A-Center and were late on a payment. Instead of handling it professionally, they sent a truck with a worker who banged on our door, refused to leave, and harassed us at home, even after we clearly said we would make the payment the same day. The behavior was aggressive and unacceptable. When we called the store, the manager, Omar, refused to take responsibility and allowed the worker to continue harassing us. They would not even provide the worker’s name. We had to warn that we’d escalate things before they finally backed off. No customer—especially one who intends to pay—should ever be treated this way. Completely unprofessional and unethical experience.

Andy was great, made the whole thing super simple, he was very polite, guided me through the whole process and made sure I understood the entire agreement. Great service and would definitely recommend!

Rep barley spoke English. He couldn't answer any questions I had and barely knew his own policies and contract stipulations. I had to get a pamphlet so I can read the T&C's myself. The prices on the products are double the price and after renting, it would be triple what you would pay for. Your better off renting instead of buying.
