I will never ever ever go here again! When they get rid of Elijah and Brandon then they can have my customer service again!! Very rude and disrespectful!! The manager say they don’t allow it, but they don’t ever get rid of them, so obviously they’re working up to their standards. The whole store needs to have new management.!!! We will be calling, corporate

Rent a center has helped me and my family be able to afford things that pawn shops or other financing companies can’t! Thanks for all the support !!!

If I could give negative stars I would! This place is the biggest 💩 show we have ever dealt with. We originally got couches from them. We decided we didn’t want them anymore so we exchanged them for a deep freezer. We were still within the time frame of their exchange program. First of all the couches sat in my garage for about 3 weeks before they finally picked them up after scheduling multiple pick ups and not showing up. Then it’s was weeks before we got our deep freezer because the one they brought out while picking up the couches was not the right one. A few weeks later the correct deep freezer was delivered. All the while we were paying weekly for couches to sit in my garage and a deep freezer that wasn’t there…Upon unwrapping it from the packaging my husband discovered it was dented. My husband called and sent email proof of damage. He was told they would take down the price on his account or send out a new one once they got it ordered. We did not want to deal with another debacle so we decided to keep it and take the discount. The amount of back and forth and inconsistenty that these people were displaying prompted us to keep tabs on my husbands account to make sure his funds that he had already paid towards the couch would be applied to the discounted deep freezer account. We waited and waited and still showed no credits applied after many weeks. So I called and talked to crystal. She reassured us that those credits don’t get applied up front but on the back end. She said they could only give us $500 for the couch and $200 for the dent. My husband had already paid over $1k towards the couches (that went back to them in perfect condition) So she tells me to call back when the account is close the $700 owed so we can settle it. Well back in May I called (about $1200 owed) and said I’d like to drop $500 on it to pay it off. The people I talked to informed me that Crystal no longer works there and was let go because of these type of discrepancies. I informed them that it’s not our fault and we expect to proceed with the deal. A lot of back and forth and the manager Carlos finally relays the message that if we come in that day he will honor it. So we went by and paid $502.** Carlos handed my husband a receipt with the rest of the total amount due crossed out with his signature. Ok great we are done with this company! That we will NEVER do business with again! Whoo hoo! Sike! Payments start coming out our bank account again! My husband logs in and it still shows that remain $700 ish. So we call and speak to Brandon. He is new to the debacle so I give him the story and he puts me on hold. Comes back and says Carlos doesn’t recall any of that happening. At this point I am about to lose my mind! I said I literally have the receipt. So he asks me to send it via text, so I do. He said he will show it to Carlos and have him call me. I waited alllll day and nothing. So I called before they closed and was informed they were super busy and Carlos hasn’t had time to look at it to call me. So I called the next day, same story… no time. My husband calls yesterday raising hell because this is ridiculous, still nothing. We informed them that if we hadn’t heard from them by end of day Wednesday that we will be taking this to corporate Thursday (today) so I’m writing this review and then contacting corporate. If it is not resolved today with corporate then I will contact my attorney. Save yourself soooooo much time, money and sanity and avoid Rent a Center like the Plague!

It would be great but every time I'm a couple days late I'm being harassed and threatened with the stuff I'm renting. If I knew I'd be harassed for being just 1 payment late i wouldn't of came in. I could understand if I was 3-4 payments behind. Otherwise rent a center is awesome.

If I could rate this store zero stars I would. They keep sending me notifications about payments how I missed payments when I have NOTHING WITH RENT A CENTER! I showed them and showed them in the store how on my voicemail how it says I missed a payment and how on my credit report it shows a missed payment. When I have nothing with them!! I go to the store for help to cancel the account or do something! And the lady just laughs in my face, how is that even proper store management I’m just saying. If anyone can help me figure out why rent a center keeps trying to make me pay something when I don’t have anything with them and have no papers signed with them. Had the same message sent to me this morning I call the store it provide which is this same store and the lady laughs about it again. Worst service ever!

This is the worst place to get from. They make you pay this insurance for what. It won’t cover anything even if your stuff gets stolen. they don’t care because it’s not cover by that dumb insurance they make up pay. and they don’t care they won’t help in any form. Don’t get me started on the people that work there they have no communication skills and they like to hang up on people. They say one thing then change it when you get there. They like to make people feel unwelcome. I will never buy anything from this place again. Should have learned my lesson long time ago.
