I have been a customer for almost two years and recently just due to a lot of personal family things I fell a month behind on payments. Today was one of the most unprofessional experiences that I have had and unfortunately I feel like I need to push this issue farther. Today one of the Rent a Center employees came to my home and not only did he tamper with my doorbell camera by turning it off before covering my property with their flyers. Also, a family member called and made a payment for the asking amount that was asked for today. My account information was given out without my consent or authorization, my contract was breeched, and also now my bi-weekly payments have increased by almost $70 without my knowledge, consent, or authorization I have not signed anything. I called and talked to corporate but I will also be taking legal action due to MY PERSONAL PROPERTY being tampered with. The employee turned off my doorbell cameras before doing this.

Got a stove from them not only was it nasty and I had to clean it..it had bugs in it. Brought it to me later than they said there where going to. Said Thursday didn't get it til Monday said between 1-3 didn't get it til 7pm that day. lied to me and said they don't make delivers on Friday but they do the guy (yes one guy) that brought it messes up the screws on the plug changing it out and couldn't fix it so my husband had to fix it. And the costumer service is horrible and the workers are extremely rude. ONE MILLION PERCENT WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!! And this is the troy Alabama location it's horrible the people that work their apparently don't want to do their jobs right or at all even. Do not rent anything from them go somewhere else or to Aaron's they are awesome.

Store manager is nice, tries his best to work with people and make problems right, beyond him it’s is abundantly clear that the customers do not matter and it’s all about the sale. Don’t bother expecting anything new unless you are ready to start sending stuff back and waiting even longer for delivery. Also items purchased may be broken with no heads up. Ended up asking for a refund and found what I needed on Amazon 10 dollars cheaper than we paid on a down payment. The best part is now we don’t have a monthly bill. I suppose I should thank them for the abhorrent customer service.

Credit Manager Nay is the sweetest person ever. The staff is amazing and very hard working. They definitely make you feel welcomed and they do their best to help you as much as possible 🥰 Great Staff and Clean environment!
