Absolutely awful customer service. After two gentleman that work there spoke down to me nd made me feel absolutely stupid, I cancelled my order. I was asked to give them a second chance so I did. When I asked to sign documents they said I HAD to come into the store. I said I was uncomfortable with that. Tina the store manager didn’t like that answer so SHE then cancelled my order. I shouldn’t have even have to say it twice that I was uncomfortable going into the store - mind you the first time I did everything is was all online. Disgusting honestly. After THEY ASKED ME FOR A SECOND CHANCE

I have to say, this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. After recently relocating, I chose Rent-A-Center for a quick and temporary solution to get essential items for my kids, specifically a bunk bed and a TV. I fully understood the contract terms and payment schedule. However, after being just a day late and only a few hours today due to handling important family matters out of town, I returned fully prepared to make my payment. Instead, I was met with excessive and unnecessary communication—over 17 calls within a two-day period. For a balance of $89, this level of urgency felt less like customer service and more like harassment. It’s also worth noting that these items had only been in my home for only less than 2 weeks. Ironically, the same urgency shown in repeated calls was not matched with professionalism when I requested they retrieve their items. If consistent communication is important when collecting payments, it should also apply when addressing customer concerns. At this point, I’ve decided to return the items and pursue more reasonable and long-term purchasing options elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed in both the service and the approach to customer relations. After looking into it further, I’ve seen that many others have had similar negative experiences, which is honestly concerning. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. You’re better off going with Aaron's or exploring other temporary options available in Temple, Texas. Thank you.

Refrigerator smaller than the one I requested. And for the price too small. When I pay u never know which payment it is because the online system never changes. You call and ask and they tell you to come in and get a printed copy. If I had time to do that I wouldn't look for it online where it is supposed to be convenient. Then when it's time to pay they harass the crap out out of you. Can't wait to pay this off. And never again. Don't do it if you don't have to. Save your money for a few weeks or months and just buy it

This is my first time renting anything. I'm 20 years old and working on creating a credit score/history. I'm also about to move into my very first apartment, Rent A Center has been more than a helping hand in ways they probably don't even know.

I went in to get a bedroom set and the man helping me was awesome. So friendly and helpful. The weekly payment is low but I plan to pay more to pay it off sooner. Great customer service.
I went into review bed sets and a couch due to us moving we are current customers. The current manager on duty needed to bring her children with her to work being that it's Saturday I understand that being a mom myself although if my children are there I would be sure that they are away from the showroom or in an area that would be more appropriate than laying in the beds that I was there to review. I was told by that manager and the account manager as well as the store manager that there's nothing else that she could have done The children were eating and drinking in the beds that they're about to rent and the rest of the showroom is a complete mess. Mind you this is equipment that they actually sell off of the four to you to go home with
