Not only was the in person experience absolutely unprofessional, they are vile and RUDE! The manager was on the phone with a customer regarding pick ups/payments and she was actively PERSONALLY INSULTING the customer on the phone. All of this while the door was open and I was filling out my application. After having an issue with my references, I placed the order online. I had to contact the store after they didn’t get ahold of me and the same lady working was extremely rude on the phone and said she remembered my name because it was unique. I let her know that I didn’t have the references yet and let her know that she was making things difficult and that RAC had already taken my money to which she immediately responded “we’ll just return it back to you and you can have fun waiting 7-10 business days to get it back.” I responded that wasn’t necessary and I just needed a bit more time. It went into the weekend and they were closed on Sunday. Called today just to find out that my order had been cancelled, the refund was submitted this morning. They canceled my order without letting me know, without me telling them to, or without a valid reason. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR ANY REASON, THEY ARE PREDATORY, UNPROFESSIONAL, PETTY AND RUDE!
I have been with RAC over 5 years. Yes, I get behind, but I end up paying.They send out letters threatening legal action with false information or with lines through word adding their own wording. Not sending thru the post office just placing anywhere on your property. Found the recent letter on ground all wet. Their customer service is not great. I work in customer service I know if speak or treat my clients the way the staff at RAC does I would be fire! I know they have a job to do to sure make payments are being made or they get their items back, threatening legal action and adding an extra week isn't very customer service especially to someone who has been with a long time.

I just recently had a death in the family and you all won't let me make payment arrangements since I'm out of town. I went with you all cause the representative you had sounded like a caring understanding person and now I'm about to lose my washer,dryer and fridge cause I'm not home to make a payment.
The products are great, the service at this particular location is threating and rude. Especially the lady Estella. My account is fairly new and yes, gets behind sometimes but I always make it correct as soon as I get the funds. Yet Estella immediately wants to try and schedule a pick up. I do not appreciate or understand her approach.
RECOMMEND AARONS or anywhere else!!! that brandy employee is horrible, doesn't know how to speak properly to people, tries over-talking you, not even giving you a chance to say anything. we were supposed to get a simple game console, told us it would be here by Wednesday between 1-4, it's 4:30 & nothing. we decided to call and she (brandy) was not there at the moment & we were told she would call us back in 10 min, WE called back 30-40 min later, letting her know that we were expecting her call for an update and she (brandy) says with attitude "oh well, I was on break." we asked her about the status of our delivery only for her to tell us we were still missing information. I don't understand how she couldn't of emailed or called us back saying we were missing a reference & I.d information that same day we emailed her all the information...instead she decided not to communicate with us til we called to get an update at 4:30 on Wednesday when nothing arrived... and says very rudely "well I did tell you on Monday all the information I needed" which didn't make sense to us because like i said, we had sent all the information needed which is how it got scheduled to be delivered Wednesday 2/28/24 between 1-4. By this point we were frustrated with her so we just decided to cancel everything Like i said, I recommend y'all take your business elsewhere.
There is a lady by the name of Brandy Taylor. She works at the #2187 store on Staples in Corpus Christi. Whenever I call or start a new contract she is always so professional and helpful. Need more staff like her. She is the epitome of what customer service should. Brandy is quite an asset. Thank you for everything you do!
