If you’re going to rent an appliance avoid this location. They don’t communicate changes with your delivery, their staff doesn’t carry the equipment necessary to install your appliance, and they will damage your property - tell you they’re going to file a claim then ghost you and ignore your follow ups. Our refrigerator was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday, I got a call the day before to try and get me to set up auto pay so they could schedule my delivery. I was confused because I thought it was scheduled for the next day and that was why they were calling. “No ma’am, it will be delivered on Thursday.” Okay fine. I asked if they could come between 3-5 because neither my husband or I would be able to get to the house before then, they said that wouldn’t be a problem. I ended up taking the day off to ensure I would be home and I tried to call to let them know they could deliver earlier. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Figured they would just come in the window I was scheduled for. No one came. No one called. I tried to call again. Got no one, not even a voicemail at the store number. I called again the next day and managed to talk to a person, they knew who I was when I called and said that it would be delivered that evening. At this point I’m fully aware of their hours, so when it was 30 minutes before their closing time I called again. I was informed that the driver was in route and they would be there in 30 minutes. When they arrived it took them forever to get the item off the truck, and once they got it to the door they bullied it through, damaging the frame. They tried to do the same through our kitchen entry - damaging the wall. They came to the conclusion it wouldn’t fit with the doors on, but they could take the doors off and that should work. They did not have the tools to do this. They thought they could try our back entry. This led to them running their truck into our fence damaging that too, and the discovery that our back door was actually smaller than the front. I just wanted a refrigerator at this point, and even asked about the potential of getting a different model since this one was clearly too big. They said their manager should be able to send me options - but the one I ordered should be fine. My husband asked about the damage that had been done, and one of the delivery guys took pictures and claimed to send them to his manager who he also supposedly called in front of us (just wait-this gets better). We watch this guy have (what we found out later was) an imaginary phone conversation with someone where he states that they can’t fit the fridge without taking off the doors, but they don’t have the tools to do so. Then supposedly organize a delivery for the next day after they remove the doors at the warehouse and bring the tools to reattach it with them. They said they would come between 10-12 the next day to finish. My husband got the pleasure of waiting for them this time while I coordinated movers. He ended up having to call when no one showed by 12:30. This is where we found out that everything the night before was performative. He talked to the manager, who was confused that the delivery hadn’t been completed the night before. This is really where I actually lost my patience. I understand that things come up and disrupt deliveries, sometimes tools are forgotten and spaces’ sizing is misjudged. They point blank LIED to our faces. She was completely unaware that the delivery hadn’t happened or the damages had occurred. A different team was sent out, and after some major deconstruction and reassembly they did complete the delivery. I appreciate the gentleman who handled this. However, the manager my husband talked to never completed our claim. He’s attempted to reach out multiple times with no response on the status. Very disappointed with this company, clearly does not care about customer experience or satisfaction.

Very rude and disrespectful staff! Called to confirm an agreement Jessica or Jennifer whatever her name was doesn't seem to care for black people even though I was approved with a agreement she stated I couldn't get furniture unless she could talk to my specific supervisor at NY job which is weird repeatedly asking me for income when I clearly provided a bank statement she made everything be a problem kept over talking me when I was trying to get clarity on the numbers she wasn't friendly at all and I can tell she has a pattern of mistreating customers because she kept insisting I call corporate on her when I hadn't even thought about calling corporate on her! The store itself is unprofessional called back in reference to order some guy picked up left me on hold for 20 minutes then transferred the call to where it rang for 10 minutes I had to call from a completely different phone just to get assistance! Save your money this store already has a low rating clearly due to poor customer service instead of bragging about how many years you have been employed at rent a center learn the difference between a federal employee vs law enforcement SPEND MONEY ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE IS TRASH

Completely unacceptable. A broken washer was delivered, and I was promised follow-up calls that never came. In the meantime, I’ve been unable to wash clothes while waiting on callbacks that should not be necessary. Being told the store was “doing me a favor” instead of fixing the issue shows a complete lack of accountability. Customers should not have to chase a resolution when the company is already aware the equipment does not work.

My mom was falsely accused of stealing a bed set that this business claims was picked up 5 years ago by a former employee. That is clearly their mistake, yet instead of owning it, they blamed a customer. I was on the phone with my mom the entire time. She was calm, not aggressive, and barely spoke to the manager. The only thing she asked was the employee’s name, which was refused. That alone says a lot. The moment the manager overheard me say we were leaving a review, she called the police and lied, claiming my mom was being aggressive. That was completely false and an insane escalation of the situation. Calling the cops on someone because you don’t want to take responsibility for your own poor record-keeping is disgusting and unprofessional. This was embarrassing, stressful, and totally unnecessary. Be very careful dealing with this place — they will accuse customers instead of fixing their own problems. Update- I have contacted corporate and they state that wtvr lies the manager told us are FALSE! There was not red flag in her account and it’s in good standing and there will be an internal investigation going on because this is pure racism. So France’s if your reading this, we did find out your name:). And yes I requested the investigation be handled by someone other than your district manager since you’re obviously in cahoots with them. Have the day you deserve :)

I took my mom so she could get a mattress turns out they have my mom red flagged for something she had already returned. My mom called my sister and my sister said she will address it with a review. Manager instantly called the police and told them we were being aggressive when no one was even directing towards her or anything. She was so rude for no reason saying she doesn’t want to be videotaped when my mom was just on a video call with my sister trying to figure out what was going on. She thought I didn’t speak English until I confronted her telling her no one was being aggressive towards her there was no need to call the police. She just kept screaming get out my store. I’m not sure how she was put as a manager because she has zero customers service zero curtesy and lying saying we were being aggressive. There is cámaras in there and I hope this gets looked into because by the way she acted she has done this before. Police should never have to be called unless its an emergency, which it wasn’t.
