This store or maybe the whole company has some unusual ways of not letting a person rent from them. Because I wanted to rent through them with my already approved credit I acquired online through there app of over $3,000. The store manager at this Cleveland, TN location chose to not approve me as I once had a person living at my address that is behind on multiple payments and Rent-A-Center has actually came to my home looking for them to collect. I talked with the ones that came to my home to collect and let them know that the person was my sister and I was having similar issues with them not wanting to pay rent at my home as well and they were asked to leave and left while we were gone and that I honestly do not have a way of contacting them as they do not have a working phone. I have no control of what my family does and I shouldn't have to be flagged because they refuse to get a job and be responible and pay others for what they owe. I've rented from Rent-A-Center in the past with never an issue of getting what I was renting paid off. The way this store manager handled this issue they are having was unfair and unprofessional as the store manager did not even come out of their office to speak with me about it and sent their employee to tell me. No one there cared what I had to say in my defense and just wanted me to leave. I did nothing wrong and I'm being banned for my sister and brother-in-laws ways of handling or should I say not handling their business. I would give no stars if I could but, I had to add at least 1 star.

I'm disabled, but this was the easiest I have ever got anything. I called I think Teressa? Anyway, she is the sweetest thing. She set up everything over the phone. E-mailed my forms to docu sighn, and now I can cook in a oven again. So Thank you for saving Thanksgiving. You're the best.

Went in today to see about leasing a gaming console , while filling out an application I was informed by a bilingual woman yelling with other customers around and other employees standing around that I can’t lease anything because wrong information was given by different location… I didn’t even turn my application in… called the other location and was told my address is just out of service area . After years of management retail I never spoke to anyone like that …. I will NEVER return , loss of a potential customer… TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 👋
