James is the best. Deserves a raise tbh. I shopped here years ago and it wasn’t til he showed up that things turned around. There are salespeople, then there is James. Elite.

Do not use this company they tell you one thing and do another. We paid up for 2 weeks and then they call every day demanding money and hitting my bank account every day and say they don’t use this system anymore.Totally unacceptable and they will not take responsibility for there actions.I will be letting my attorney know about this.totally unhappy with them in every aspect.

Extremely disappointing experience at the Athens Aaron's due to deceptive practices and awful customer service. I signed up with the 'penny to start' deal. The manager called and told me to come pick up my equipment today, but after making a 30-minute drive, I was hit with surprise fees. They refused to let me take the items unless I paid more money on the spot, completely defeating the purpose of the promotion. The absolute worst part was the manager's attitude. When I explained that these extra costs were never mentioned over the phone, he condescendingly told me he 'didn't expect that I wouldn't have the money.' Absolutely unprofessional and demeaning. Save yourself the headache, this kind of poor management is bad for business.

Went in to pick up a laptop today that I had been talking to the manager about on the phone the previous days. When I arrived the man that helped me, I don't remember his name, had no clue about what the manager had talked with me about and the manager told me that they would take care of me today. The guy was clueless and he was like well we have to start all over. His body language, his attitude, And just a general way he acted towards me were not appreciated. It was almost as if he could care less that I was there and just wanted to get me gone. We made the deal anyway and I brought the laptop home. However when I got it home it will not let me connect to my Wi-Fi. Apparently when they reset it, it was a previously owned one, they deleted the driver that it needed and forgot to reinstall it. This is what I was told by the nice lady that I talked to when I called about why I couldn't connect. So now I have to take it back down there just so they can reinstall the driver. If he had even taken the time to say hey let's make sure you can set it up or anything for that matter then maybe I could have used the laptop that I was so excited to get, over the weekend instead of having to wait until I can take it back down there to even be able to use it. At this point I'm just ready to take it back and forget it. It was my first time in the store because my previous leases were done online. And let me just tell you first impressions are definitely everything. I was completely disappointed and irritated with my service in store today in the Athens office.

Called about an electric bike for my wife. She goes in and speaks with someone. The messages had us believing that we could take it today. No, we drover over 30 mins to find out they “have” to deliver it. A friend of mine has been in this line of work before and you can override that. They waisted our time and gas getting here to try and get this bike for my pregnant wife. They can deliver it two weeks from now which is very unacceptable. Do not do business with these people

The manager here Andy was completely rude to me when I called asking to return my bed after less than one week. He stated they don’t take back used furniture and asked me not sleep on the mattress anymore until they came to got it. He got extremely hateful when I told my friend that it was bs that they don’t take furniture back and I asked him what does he do when someone doesn’t make a payment? He couldn’t answer me… I read the terms which plainly states if I decide to terminate an agreement I am allowed to and brought both items back… Aaron’s in Athens TN you have lost my business… seems like you need a new general manager from I’ve been reading!

I have only returned one item to ARRONS. Just because we decided we didn't want it anymore. Leaven me with 1400$ leasing power, however I have bought a couch in fact, I bought two couches formally. You know what else, I bought a PlayStation 5, I've bought and paid in full for two sets of , washer and dryers, I bought a stove. I owe them nothing in fact they owe me $1,400 in leasing power, that I've made payments towards to go towards something else. I have been at the Dayton TN location, and ATHENS. A few weeks ago I started getting harassed by them because I paid off my final purchase there they said they would give me a couch take off how much payments I made and hope the girl up with a discount for being such a loyal customer. Grateful for the opportunity to not waste my money, I ordered a couch 3 weeks ago. We made the choice to upgrade our couch because of my mom, I ordered this couch because it has a pull out bed in it for my mother to sleep in when she stays with me. I got a call this morning after my couch was gone and everything else saying not only did they order the wrong thing, they didn't even listen to what I told them I wanted and needed. Now they have to order it and it's going to be 6 to 9 weeks before I get it. The manager absolutely acted like he did nothing wrong, ASKED ME WHY I GOT RID OF MY COUCH BEFORE WE SET A DATE DESPITE THEM SAYING 2/3 WEEKS 3 WEEKS AGO, and it's my fault. He was rude and disrespectful his name is Andy and I am completely and utterly appalled at the disrespect this company has given me after all I have given for them. I have supported them, I have bragged on them, I have sent people there, And they still disrespect me the way they do and I am so over it. I asked the manager to give me his manager and he laughed and was like it'll be here in 6 to 9 weeks and basically just got off the phone with me and told me to have a great day very disrespectfully. I am so done. AARONS YOUR COMPANY LOOKS AWFUL BECAUSE OF THE EMPLOYEES YOU CHOOSE!
