Rent-A-Center

Rent-A-Center is the worst business in Dillon County. The manager Jason is no more than a crooked business manager that have taken advanced of the poor. This business forced my brother-in-law to take a TV back and keep making payments that he can not afford on disability. He will end this rental agreement and take the TV back or just stop paying for it. The manager talked this foolishness talk that he would file charges to make him keep it. Good luck with that. You will loose in the end.

I placed an order online and was instantly approved. I paid $10 to add the recliner that is STILL on my dashboard and picked a delivery date (01/07 between 1 pm and 4 pm). I called the store in Dillon, SC at 3:45 and asked was everything still good to go with my delivery. Kathy informed me my purchase had been declined due to my payment history. Which is ridiculous being we have been customers for almost 5 years and have paid off NUMEROUS items. Yes I am human and can be late on my payment sometimes, but at the end of the day, I am a paying customer and it’s always paid whether it be on time or a week or 2 late! Kathy was very rude on the phone and informed me that if maybe if we made some payments on time then MAYBE they can add something to my account until then, it was declined. I am very disappointed with this experience and I will be calling corporate Monday morning as soon as they open to take further action.

KRIS is great! He is very helpful, polite, works hard, and have a great sense of humor. Very good with new and returning customers. His customers service and people skills are always on point. Makes you feel welcome at Dillon Rent A center

Kris is awesome. The store has needed a manager like him , he actually cares about his customer's and their happiness and is always willing to do the best he can to help you out. I miss Kathy is also great. Heck I have even meant the drivers or delivery guys they are so nice I think it's all due to Kris and his kindness inside the store and how he runsthe store. All around great place

I filled out the “application” online like it told me to, and I get a call from John. Who apparently is the store manager. He starts asking me for my SS number to run a background check and asked for anybody who lived with me for their SS number also. I definitely did not feel comfortable giving him mine or my fiancé’s SS number over the phone. John told me that I didn’t complete my online application, and that’s why he was asking me for this info. I reapplied to see what I missed but, the application doesn’t ask you if you live wiith anybody or your SS number. Apparently, he doesn’t know what the online application looks like. His customer service is horrible! I started getting agitated because of his horrible customer service, and proceeded to tell him that I’m going to take my business to Aarons’s. I called back again to give them one more chance. Disappointed! John remembered who I was and left me on hold forever, I called back and Kathy picked up who had great customer service, by the way! She thought John picked the phone up and talked to me, but nope! He just let it ring. I’m truly disappointed in n the customer service John gives! I don’t recommend anybody to this store!

Great customer service and support. Bought a laptop from them and the motherboard crashed, I took it in and they replaced it within an hour and had me back to my schooling. Kris is an amazing manager and always wants to satisfy his customers. Great job guys!
