We have had the best experience with Pro Built of Memphis/ Gold Star. Over the years we have had several accounts with them and from day one they have treated us like family. The people in the office when you call are always professional and very friendly. I am a very happy customer. Thank you Gold Star.
I don’t understand how building a shed with a door off center can be so complicated for a company that builds sheds? I needed a shed because the old one was crushed by a tree. So, I purchased a shed from Probuilt with a single door off center to the right if you are facing the shed and a window on the right side of the shed. What I got was a double door with a window. They took that shed back. The second shed they delivered was a single door with a window, great. No! This time the door was all the way to the left. I called to have them explain, but I was met with “this is what you asked for,” as a solution. Wow! Now, with all the rain we’ve had over the past few days, I had to use this shed to protect my equipment and personal property. I don’t like the look of this shed. But I’ll have to try to rework the way I want it to look. Suffice it to say, I am not happy with Probuilt on Winchester! UPDATE: management states that I changed the way I wanted the shed to look. I did change my mind a few times , but this was before the shed was finished. I was also told at the time that the frame was up but it was okay for me to change the location of the window. I never asked for the door to be changed only the window. It was always a single door off center to the right. When the shed arrived the first time, it was a double door. The man who delivered it called and was told by management that it was wrong. The client doesn’t pay to have things corrected when the company makes mistakes. So for Probuilt to say they corrected the error, “at no cost “ to me is laughable. Probuilt management wants you to believe that me changing my mind about a window location affected the location of the door.
I had a storage shed built on site from Probuilt of Memphis in 2021. The sheds comes with 10 year warranties. I noticed over the past weekend , what appears to be mold accumulating on the 2x4's inside the shed. I immediately called Probuilt and spoke with Ben Snider. I explained to him it looks as if the shed is leaking and mold is starting to grow inside. He asked me to send pictures and go from there. I sent the pics right away. When I received his response from the pics, I was livid. This is his response - "Due to the lumber shortage and house building frenzy during 2020 and 2021, most of the lumber mills are shipping lumber that hasn't fully cured. The lumber is young and wet. There's not really anything that can be done. You can wipe it off, but it will come back until the lumber is fully cured. It's just the sap coming out of the lumber. " Although there is a warranty on the building, Mr. Snider is writing me off blaming everything on "The COVID ERA". Companies are no longer holding up to warranties and their word of commitment to there customers. The customers are what keeps them in business. I spent roughly 4k for this shed and 2 years later, it's collecting mold. I strongly urge you to beware of Probuilt of Mempis on Getwell and Winchester. This company DOES NOT stand behind their word on warranties.
I had a great experience with Ben, Ariel, Anthony, and everyone I met at Pro Built! They were all very kind, and were able to make a dream idea come to reality! Strongly recommend them for any shed or building new builds!
