Catskill Shed Company

Do not recommend getting a shed from this company. Spend your money elsewhere. First off no one is ever on site to answer questions. Went several times and no worker to be seen. I finally called to purchase a building after seeing price online. Women I spoke to confirmed the price. I said I wanted to buy it however preferred to pay cash due to credit card fee they charge. However she would have to arrange someone to come to site cause they have no one working their now so it would be awhile before they could. I offered to pay a deposit via card however she said it’s not needed. I sent her several pictures of the location to be sure they can get it where I need it with no response. I called a few times over the course of a week and left messages with no response. I sent messages over their online chat with no answer. A week goes by and I call again and finally get someone on the phone. This is where this company gets fishy. They now tell me they won’t honor their advertised price (I took pictures of site for proof). They said I now need to spend several hundred more dollars to get it. The employee said he would give me free shipping to make up for price increase when the whole site says free shipping within 30 miles which I was. I spoke to a manager and he was extremely rude. He told me straight up that even if I bought it online right then and there and paid the credit fee they would have refunded my money and then give me the opportunity to buy it again at a now higher price. He was not willing to honor advertised price at all. Mind you this building has sat on the lot for over 2 yrs without selling. It has wear and tear from being in the weather. It doesn’t come with a full warranty. I would have also had to pay for the “mule” to deliver it. Overall poor communication, rude management and they will try to cheat you. So glad I didn’t give them a dime or my credit card. Don’t believe any prices you see. Odds are it is wrong and actually cost more. Needless to say I did not get a shed from these scam artists and guess what, weeks later it still sitting on their site. Wouldn’t sell it to me for the sale price so let’s jack it up and see if it sells now. Went to another local place and sooo much better experience. Someone on site every day to discuss and pay. Owner extremely friendly Prompt returning of calls. Quick delivery. No credit card fee or mule charge. Go elsewhere even if the building costs more.

Bought a 10x14 A frame shed, when it was delivered we were told they would level the pad for us... never happened and had to diy it. Also was told they would have to use the Mule to deliver it to the location because they didn't want to back up to the pad and charged me an additional $100. when converting it into a tiny house we discovered that none of the support beams are the same width, the entire frame will be one dimension and then u measure again and it's completely different... Shed was never built square over level. Now it is holding condensation in the roof and is wet now causing my structural integrity of the roof to be compromised. would not recommend this company to anyone it's a waste of your money

We ordered a lovely Amish-made chicken coop through Catskill Shed Co., which apparently partners with Backyard Outfitters for these coops. It's sturdy, good looking, and is just the right size for our flock. On delivery day, my wife and I were astounded that the delivery guy Brady was able to maneuver the coop to the spot we'd leveled - he literally had only a few inches on either side. While the delivery was impressive, I was taken aback by the coop having to be dragged along our driveway for the last 100 feet before being lifted again. I kept thinking dragging such a heavy coop along the ground, even with the thick skids it sits on HAS to threaten the structural integrity. It wasn't until after Brady had left that we noticed the little door the chickens use to enter and exit the coop was warped and would not close properly. I checked level and plumb on the rest of the coop and sure enough all was well except for the entry/exit door. We contacted the company to see what could be done and - after some mix ups in communication, they sent a fella - Austin - up to our home to install a new door, which now functions beautifully. Everyone we dealt with treated us professionally. I don't know if there's a way to deliver these coops and sheds without dragging them along the ground, but it might avoid similar issues if they can come up with one.

I was looking for a shed option for my home. Catskill Shed has a small lot in Remsen not far from my home and I found the perfect 10x10! It was a left over marked down to an amazing discount price that I couldn’t pass up. I spoke with Hannah who cheerfully answered my questions and scheduled my delivery. The shed arrived in proper condition, placed in the designated area and leveled to perfection. I highly recommend Catskill Shed Company and would do business with them again!

A good selection of sheds of all sizes and for all purposes. There was no one there to talk to about them but they were all open to examine the inside. There were some with prices posted and some not posted.
