Took advantage of their going out of business sale to pretty much furnish my new apartment after having lost everything in Hurricane Helene. Sean and Chris the only two sales people were extremely polite and helpful in assist with getting stuff loaded up. I can attest Sean's composure in dealing with an extremely aggressive customer while we waited to be served. Extremely nice guys. Sorry to see them go out of business. All the best Sean, and Chris. I broke my foot and my upper arm in 3 places. I could not lay down to sleep. My sweet husband tried to purchase me a $1900.00 recliner. The sales staff said we he could have the one on floor. She was very nice and helpful. However, "the man in charge" came around and said that they needed the chair in store because of potential customers from Apple Fest. He refused to sell chair. What a useless individual. No wonder why no one shops there.
Public Service Announcement Do Not and I Repeat Do Not purchase furniture from this location. They are "Crooks" A customer service employee named "Sterling" misrepresented a sale to me by first saying a $1,000 would be taken off my total purchase for a Presidents Day Sale. A year later I have been charged "Full Price" for the supposedly " On Sale" furniture. She also did not even deliver the complete merchandise ordered and when I tried to complain to"Corporate" she justified her actions by telling them I was "High" when I came to purchase the furniture. I wanted the furniture I was able to receive and kept it and have made 16 months worth of payments on time. I was supposed to be in my last two payments to close the account and they tacked on another $1,000 talking about revolving interest rates. I recently tried to explain to the in store manager about what Sterling had done, she came up while I was talking to him and told me I was too broke to afford the furniture and was High when I came to purchase the furniture. I had $4,000 in my purse the day I went in the store and could have paid cash for the $2,300 furniture which I have currently paid $4,000 worth of payments. Corporate will not address the issue so I have filed a complaint with the Department of Justice, Better Business Bureau and hired an attorney to file a Civil Lawsuit for the overcharge s, defamation and slander.
So far it's ok. I'll write a full review when I complete my first purchase
Just got off the phone for the second time with the Hendersonville Badcock store. I purchased my bed, mirror, and dresser set on December 16th, 2017 and it was delivered on December 22nd, 2017. I noticed a gash in the top of the mirror, the following day after the delivery and due to the Holidays, couldn't call about it until later in the week December 28th, 2017. On December 28th, I called and was told by Sabra Marshburn to send a picture to the store via email and I did so right after I got off the phone with Mrs. Marshburn. Weeks went by and I did not get a reply from anyone. I called today and was told that they could not do anything and that I would have to use the warranty I purchased with the furniture to replace the mirror, but would not get my credit for not using my warranty for the five year period. I thought this was unfair and made my point as such since this damage was not done by me or my family and was done during delivery. They then told me that the delivery service said that they did not do the damage. Isn't the customer supposed to be always right? I am not trying to get free stuff, I just want beautiful furniture which is what I thought I was paying for. I am very discouraged and disappointed. I will not be purchasing anything else from Badcock. If you purchase anything from this store and it is damaged you will be treated unfairly! **Since this experience, they have fixed the issue! I now have the beautiful furniture I paid for!
