Putting a one because I have to choose at least one. Sat outside for over an hour while they were supposed to be open, when we got here there was a sign saying on lunch be back in 30, over an hour later we ended up leaving

As much as I like Aaron's and it's employees, on this occasion I was actually next door at the Dollar Tree where I found another impressive employee. As it was, my purchases exceeded the amount of cash that I had on me at the time but instead of letting me take off one of the items that had been rung up, the cashier actually went out of his way and put in the difference from his own money. In this day and age, I found this to be not just rare but also extremely human and I was very impressed by this employee's actions. He didn't have to do it and I wouldn't have held it against him if he hadn't, but it gave me hope for this world simpky because he did help me out.

They call multiple times a day if you are a day late with payment. We've had our product in our house for almost a year now andcthoug he are late we always pay. They make you feel like a thief! I've asked them to move my payment to something other then the 1st of the month amd in order to do this they wanted some rediculous payment first. If you go a few days late they start calling your contacts you are forced to provide and embarrass you to your family. I also believe they skip trace (which is illegal) by calling other family members you did not include on contact list. I can not wait to be done with the rental ... have it paid off and never do business with them or any aarons again!

I introduced myself to the manager and I said I just had some concerns about the delivery process. Honestly I just wanted him to hear me because this was a gift for my mother and I just wanted her to come home and be surprised with a brand new refrigerator for Christmas but when she saw it she saw that there were scratches and dents and I had to explain to her that there was a replacement on the way so I was just unhappy that my surprise was ruined in a way. I started to explain to him how when a delivery men started to bring the fridge into the house they had a door swinging round and it was hitting the walls and he proceeded to cut me off. I was in mid sentence and he spoke right over me I was trying to express my sentiments and it was as though he didn't want to hear them he was more intent on shutting me up. He started saying well what doesn't make sense to me is that I received a call from my delivery drivers saying that everything was OK. That's when I said yes I agree you did receive a call saying that everything was OK but... Then he cut me off again and he said well that's why I'm saying your story doesn't quite add up but it's OK you're getting a new fridge anyway. All I really wanted to do was explain how the refrigerator got scratched during delivery and how the guys that delivered it disregarded my sister saying Hey what about that scratch but I couldn't get a word in he kept cutting me off every time I tried to start a sentence. It was very clear that he had no interest in anything I had to say and was more interested in trying to find a way to shut me up or end the conversation or explain away or justify any sort of action. All I wanted was for him to just listen and empathize that was it. This is actually a pretty basic skill that is taught to anyone in its leadership role. He did not display either one of these qualities. In my career I have a job in a leadership role of a multimillion dollar company and the very basic things that they teach us in leadership 101 are displaying empathy and effective listening. What he displayed was an accusatory tone, defensiveness, and he was listening to respond not listening to empathize or understand. He was already speaking over me before I had completed my sentence. He listened to a few words and was already preparing his rebuttal rather than listening to me. To be truthful I wish I never had done business with Aaron's. It was actually my last choice. The only reason I ended up going there is because my mother lives in a small town and there is no Rooms to Go there. Uf there was a Rooms to Go, that was actually my 1st choice they have better deals better quality products, and better service. In sum I am not happy with my experience. The delivery drivers did a poor job, there was no effort, there was just a rushed job that led to a damaged refrigerator. The interaction with the manager led to me feeling unheard and accused. (I wrote a much longer comment however I cannot fit it all here, this is the ending part of it. There is much more to my experience)
