I found Rent-a-center when looking for a place I could rent a recliner post hip surgery and had a wonderful experience. From scheduling to have the recliner dropped off, to getting it picked up. After the recliner had initially been dropped off, something wasn’t working and I called the office and the man I spoke to came out himself to take a look at it and get it fixed for me. I had to extend the rental which was super easy to do and when it was picked up they sent out Maurice who was so kind and made the pick up process simple. If ever needed i’d use them again and wanted to share my experience.

I've had a good experience, anyone who deals with them alot they will work with you on whatever issue it is if at all possible.

Told me my bed pay off would be july this year. What a lie.wayne and his supervisor added $ 133 and some for August. Then wayne asked could i ask a friend or my mother to pay the 133 and some dollars! My mom is now broke seriously from making the unexpected payment for me! If i dont get a refund im taking my complaint to other online ratings companies that are legitimate. Deverick Rooks. 100 s. Fourth ave apt 1003 Ann arbor michigan 48104. They all said only recently That if my payments are not done by july then id have to start my payments all over again.i should have gotten a blow up bed or bed from amazon or craiglist!

When my furniture arrived it was ripped all over and it had no legs. The legs that were with it did not fit , would not screw on and also there were two different sets of legs. Meaning they didn't match so there was no way for them to fit in the first place...They had to take it back to the store. Next I asked them to please make sure that my things were brand new and asked for it to still be in the plastic when it arrived. It was in the plastic, however, it was still ripped in several places and the new legs also would not screw into the couch they did however screw on to the love seat. It's been a month and I still don't have the legs to the couch, nor have they came to sew the couch up where the holes are. Even though it was supposed to be brand new when it was delivered.I still took it because I didn't have furniture. I will be sending it back this month I believe to get something different. I hope my next experience is much better. All I received the whole time I was trying to get someone to give me the customer service I deserved, was attitude attitude attitude. Really ridiculous Update: I decided to upgrade my furniture and stick with them thinking that this was a one-time thing. The young men that came were willing to help me take my furniture out to the trash to replace it with the new furniture I just got from Rent-A-Center (I also bought my old furniture from Rent-A-Center). I have been a loyal customer of Rent-A-Center for over 20 years. Because I needed help getting the furniture out. (Which mind you they've done every single time I've ever had furniture delivered from them) of that they refused my furniture order and cancel my account... I'm only one person. A 5'2 woman. There's no way for me to lift it by myself and I am single. The woman was very rude about it. I will no longer be a customer of Rent-A-Center after this. Ever

I am extremely dissatisfied how the online approval works. If you are thinking of renting from here please do so in person (this includes: going over all the details of your application with them Prior to moving forward with purchase) in order to receive accurate results. If you do not, you can risk them telling you one day before your furniture is delivered that you are not approved. Make sure you verify with them that you are approved and all the details of your application have been sorted out accordingly before you move forward with services. It will save you a lot time and frustration. The online approval charges you before you even are called by the store itself. Do it in person.
