I’ve been with them for years and never had issues till they had new people take over, and all I can say is they’re very hateful and don’t matter if you’re struggling financially. “Monthly” people aren’t supposed to miss a payment, as I was told. They will constantly call you if they don’t receive a payment.

i’ve been renting thru them for about 2-3 months, king size bed frame broke within a month and we’ve been waiting about a month for a new frame. been sleeping on the ground, every time we called it was “it should be this week” we pay our bills, new management obviously needs to be put into the offices. it’s getting outta hand.(mind you we’re still waiting on that frame) 😂

I would recommend if you’re wanting to find something fast and at a low payment. However I had moved into a new apartment at the end of May about the same time I had order a couch and tv from rent a center (I had no other furniture really, just a mattress as this was my first apartment) and then gotten into a major accident with my mother in July (about a month or two after getting my couch and tv from rent a center). I ended up in the hospital for two days and should have been more but I won’t go into detail on that. I ended up with extensive injuries that even now cause complications and I’m healing from. I did not get to file a claim and get a settlement due to my mother being placed at fault for the accident, remember this later. I ended up losing my job that I had for 6 months shortly after the accident due to them not working with me through my dr appts and things. So no I had no income coming in and still responsible for all of my bills including my home. Right after that I was hired with another job that was work from home and pay was supposedly great, and then found out it was a pyramid scheme and I now owe money to that company but never ever received a pay from them (I worked with this company for about a month 1/2 before I realized and decided to leave). So it was back to square one while everything around my life was crumbling. I made this very aware and very known to rent a center. Kept them updated whenever I could possible, I had never missed a payment until any of this and when this happened and if I knew I wasn’t going to have payment I ALWAYS made sure to call and talk to the employees. However I have called a few times and I do not know the gentleman’s name but every single time I’ve spoken to him, I felt worse getting off the phone than when I called expecting to hopefully get some kind of help on this. My payment plan has been messed up quite frequently recently (im a biweekly plan but was trying to be charged weekly) so I called twice to get it fixed and it had not been and I was made to feel as if it was my fault that I couldn’t pay a weekly payment for the 3rd or 4th week in a row of $100+ for my biweekly $111 payment. Then when I asked if I could push the payment back a week since I wouldn’t get money until the next week I was told “maybe he could waive the late fees but he didn’t know since there was clearly miscommunication.” Very rude and very untrue! I have been nothing but friendly and really tried through all this chaos to keep them up to date and make sure my payment was paid as much as possible through all this. There’s plenty more to this but I would like to not take up anymore time.

This place basically triples the prices of everything it’s not worth it at all I wouldn’t recommend renting anything from here the bedroom set I chose won’t be paid off for two years and I wasn’t aware of that when I first rented it. I asked when it would be paid off and wasn’t given a straight forward answer the prices are absolutely ridiculous and they will call and text and also email you all day long about your payments. Renting from this place was a huge mistake and I’m more than likely going to return the furniture even though I already paid a ton for it. There is absolutely no need to make the prices so high. I’ve never left a bad review about anything but I am so unhappy with the horrible decision I made to rent furniture from here.
