What Customers Are Saying

Recent reviews from rent-to-own stores in Kendallville.

We have been using this Rent A Center since 2017. In 2019, when I was diagnosed with cancer, one of the staff was calling regularly to check on me and see how treatments were going even though we didn't have anything we were paying for at the time. They all rejoiced with me when I received my remission report. When that staff member left for another opportunity, the manager Steve took over checking on me to see how I was doing, and he still does six years later. Last month, I was inquiring about a new stove, but I opted against it because of financial constraints despite the fact that the oven quit working. Bobbie Jo messaged me yesterday to let me know about one at a reduced price, and I accepted. We have never had any serious issues with anything we have purchased from them. Eight years of above and beyond customer service is why I keep going back. I highly recommend this place for any rent to own furniture or appliances you may need if you can't just buy something outright. 🙂 Just editing to say the customer service experience is like no other. They never cease to amaze me about the level of care they have for their customers. 🥰

Really love the place. The pricing was amazing. The people were kind and I enjoyed their presence and the ability to help me understand my payment plan. Everything was just great.

Showed up and couch did not fit through door right away, no complaining. Just problem solving. Figured it out and they were on their way. Very good service.

The employees here have been A1 since before day one!!! Purchased a new mattress, the day the Kendallville store received it the customer service reps in the store were so helpful and kind. Their delivery schedule was super packed, so the store manager delivered our mattress themselves same day so we didn't have to wait for the delivery people! 10/10 will recommend and will definitely be returning for future purchases!!!!!

Absolutely love Courtney and the Manager Matt. Great customer service and very friendly. However Brent is rude, disrespectful to women and down grades them. I had to let management know he is not welcome at my home and stand in between him and my daughter right after surgrey when he came to my house day after my payment was due and my daughter barely due that day. When he was asked to leave he stepped forward and got in her face. Management agreed to not send him to our home. His phone calls continue and again rude disrespectful and hung up in tears. His professionalism and down right disrespect to woman is unacceptable and should be addressed head on!
