What Customers Are Saying

Recent reviews from rent-to-own stores in Lake Forest.

While being relocated brings about a series of unknowns regarding where to live, how to live, interim living, new job location familiarization, etc. one thing holds true. There are wonderful companies like Brook Furniture Rental which shine like a beacon and come to the rescue to make part of that journey easier. We are relocating from suburban Chicago to north of Milwaukee. Upon making our first call to Patricia at Brook, we immediately felt at ease that our furniture rental (for our interim housing) would be handled without a worry. Patricia and the staff at Brook Furniture have exceeded our expectations with the quality of the furniture provided as well as the quickness in their communications and the professionalism they showed in handling the transaction from start to end. We are grateful with all the changes going on right now, that Brook Furniture was one thing we didn't have to worry about. That's a wonderful thing for us. Thank you!!

I had what seemed like an impossible task, to find quality furniture to rent with only two days lead time.... My google search brought me to Brook Furniture Rentals and after reading all of the positive reviews, I called and Paula made the impossible - possible. Paula went above and beyond my expectations. She searched every loveseat available in my area to help me with size as it had to fit in a small doorway. She patiently went through the lamp, end table and dining room table options. if it didn't have a picture online - she emailed it to me. I ordered the furniture on Wednesday and it was delivered Friday. The delivery men took time to help us arrange the furniture perfectly - they were very careful about noting getting the white rugs dirty. Pricing is very competitive and the ease of ordering and filling out the paperwork make the overall experience very pleasant. I highly recommend Brook Furniture for any short or long term needs. Again, the furniture is even nicer in person than what you think it will be online. Perfect condition.

Brooks helped me organize a move for my daughter, who was traveling across the country for an internship. The service was first-rate. The staff were informative, flexible and available on short notice. The furniture was in place when she got there. Top-notch service all-around. Would recommend Brooks without reservation.

Figures and Numbers: I compare Brook (BFR) with CORT; the pricing was good esp the additional charges. Besides better monthly rent than CORT, I also saved decent money for shipping and blah blah stuff (additional charges). Customer Support: Patricia was super cooperative, and guided me through each step. Well Coordination: Impressive that each step happened as I was told; emails, phone calls, driver upfront alert, and the delivery of the furniture. Professional: Delivery guys (Noel and Jesus) did professional job at super fast pace, including polishing of the furniture. I willy highly recommend BFR to others.
