Yvette was very Nice and quick. Great customer service and happy to help answer all my questions. Grabbed a new couch in 20 mins or less.
Yvette was awesome and super quick with the service. She even convinced us to do an add on for a Mac Neo that we were able to take home same day. Super exciting to know how easily it is to complete the purchase with no hassle.
I would not recommend this Rent-A-Center location. I moved into my apartment on June 5th, and that same day I came into the store looking to rent a living room set/sectional and a washer and dryer. I spoke with two ladies in the store about my options. During that conversation, I mentioned that I live on the third floor. The lady with the dreadlocks immediately threw her hands up and leaned her head back with an attitude, which made me feel uncomfortable. I didn’t know who would be delivering my furniture, but I was already planning to tip the delivery team $100 each because I respect the work they do and was even willing to help carry items upstairs. My delivery was scheduled for June 17th. I wanted it sooner, but they told me that was the earliest available date. Since placing my order, I’ve received multiple calls asking me to update my references, employment information, and provide recent pay stubs. On top of that, I was charged twice, and I still don’t have any furniture. The day before delivery, I called to confirm my delivery time and was told they wouldn’t be delivering because of the rain. I completely understood. Then today, on my actual delivery date, I called again to ask what time they would arrive, and no one could give me an answer. Instead, they immediately asked what floor I lived on and whether there was an elevator. They also asked me to send a picture of my laundry hookup to determine which dryer cord I needed, then told me I would have to purchase the dryer connection myself. I’ve been a Rent-A-Center customer for about two years and have never had to do that before. After thinking about it, I decided I no longer wanted the washer and dryer and asked to keep just the couch. As a customer, I should be allowed to change my mind or ask questions. Instead, the lady with the dreadlocks took over the phone call, became loud, aggressive, dismissive, and spoke to me with an attitude. I wasn’t even speaking with her originally. Her customer service was completely unacceptable. This location is a franchise, so maybe they operate differently than corporate locations, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. Between the poor communication, being charged twice before receiving anything, the delays, and the disrespectful treatment, I feel completely unappreciated as a customer. I would like my money refunded. Save yourself the frustration and choose a location that values its customers.
Evette and her another associate delivered an oversized large chair up 3 flights with no help! I was in disbelief because there was no male in sight .To see 2 women deliver and climbing 3 flights of stairs says a lot about this company ‼️why aren’t there any men delivering heavy furniture to customers instead of women ? Those ladies definitely deserve raise and more due to this situation. Very disappointing ‼️Men need to hired for this job
