Customer reviews
One star for the horrible customer service lady working today. Literally said out loud that she doesn’t get paid to do Amazon returns basically trying to run people out of the store because she couldn’t multitask with one customer 🫠
I went in to the store today to return several Amazon items, 15 to be exact. I’m a new mom in postpartum about to have to go back to work and I bought a lot of clothes trying to dress my new body. When the lady completing returns got to the 5th item she looked about me very annoyed looking asking just how many items I have left. I showed her. She then told me that there is a 5 item max and just looked at me like I needed to leave. She looked at the 3 people behind me and raised her hands up to show me that a line had form, I advised that I saw no where online or in store that there was a 5 item max for returning, and what was I suppose to do pointing down to my newborn like getting out of the house is easy for me to do. She then advised me that I needed to get in the back of the line like my items were too much to handle and having the three customers wait 5 more minutes was too big of an inconvenience. I had all my items in order ready to go with my QR codes to make it as smooth as possible. If only this woman knew what it took for me to even get out of the house today to get these errands done after she was so rude to me and made this experience in this store slightly humiliating as I took my daughter and my box of items to the back of the line. Thankfully she did not help me once I made it back up to the front., and the man who I believe was a manager did. He told me that it wasn’t a lot and that he was sorry I had to wait. He made the experience slightly better. I hate Amazon returns have to go here just because I never want to deal with that woman again. Sincerely, A overwhelmed postpartum mom
I'm not sure about this place, while I have only been there twice to drop off Amazon returns, with each time an experience. 1st time myself and several others waited a good 30 to 40 minutes in the heat because the employee were waiting on the manager. The second time, when we walked in we were informed that they were not taking amazon returns because they didn't have the stuff, what ever that means. We were subsequently told that it would be two to three weeks before they would be taking returns. The person wished us best of luck changing our return tags. I had 6 items to return of which required me to call amazon and have them cancel the return for me to then do a UPS return tag. Note: they have only been taking returns for about two weeks.
This is appreciation for them becoming an Amazon return center due to several UPS stores closing. This is a huge help for this area. Thank you Rent-A-Center for stepping up. Hopefully, the additional foot traffic helps your core business.
My first time using this service and it will be my last I went to a competitor instead which was hassle free. I placed a order and signed my agreement online and paid my deposit. it saifd that someone from the store would contact me to set up delivery. That call never happened, I had to CALL THEM, before they closed the next business day. So when I did the guy who answered literally was laghing the entire time, so unprofessional so then his boss got on the phone and finished the delivery date process but her disposition was off like way off. fast forward to delevery day my window was 3pm-5pm, here it is 453pm and I haven’t received any call or email regarding my delivery, so again I had to CALL THEM to see what was going on. The guy who answered said that my item was on the truck and was waiting for another person to help deliver, but they close in 1 hour so I wasn’t hopeful. the rest of the day came and went and no call to say hey we won’t make your delivery today no nothing. so surly they will call tomorrow to update me and deliver the item right? No! I waited to 4pm to see if they would reach out, but sadly that did not happen. I called the store to ask for a update and the manager answered, again with a nasty disposition, her tone was unprofessional like she was annoyed that I even called. I gave her my name and she asked “what did you order” this is the same lady who I spoke with that placed my delivery date so she should be familiar with me. at this point I was frustrated of the service or the lack there of that I received up to this point so I ask her to cancel my order. She raised her voice and said “I HAVE NO ORDER FOR YOU” . what? why is that? I told her that she was the one who originally helped me set up delivery and I paid a deposit and all so I’m confused. She then said “He refunded your order yesterday” Who is he, and why did he do that!? The guy I spoke with yesterday said that my order was on the truck and that he was waiting for help, that’s all! so why was my order canceled and refunded without me telling them?! I hung up and called there cooperate office. This is beyond ridiculous and the lack of communication and straight unprofessionalism at display at this location is diabolical. They all need training in customer service and after all this not a single time was I apologized to. Not even after the manager raised her voice at me about not having a order but then found my order. stay far far away.
Absolutely despise this place worst thing I could have ever done. Currently having to sleep on my couch because my “brand new” bed it’s uneven so bad a dang penny would roll off of it!
My husband and I have ALWAYS paid our payments sometimes a couple days late but nonetheless we always pay. Yes, they add late fees and we pay that as well so if anything they are benefiting. If you are even one day late, they will continuously harass you and blow up your phone. Multiple texts and calls a day. They might as well switch me to monthly at this point so I only have to deal with them once a month because I am sick and tired of having my phone blown up for being one day late. It’s harassment. They are ridiculous and act like we’re just gonna skip out on our contract and never pay.
