I was sleeping and heard this big banging on my door that woke me up. There was an Aaron’s employee that drove to my house demanding that I pay $60 dollars towards my account before he takes all of my furniture. I told him please not to take my stuff. I still have family over from the Thanksgiving holiday. He very inconsiderate of my situation and didn’t want to leave my house until I paid $60 dollars. I already paid half of my payment over the website all they had to was call me to settle my account. Not drive up to my doorstep and demand money from me and embarrassing me and my family.
We went to Aaron's looking for a front load washer and dryer, we spoke to some blonde girl, young, overweight-big chubby cheeks, and she told us that she ordered us a washer and dryer, we didn't need cash down, we could pick it up in 7 days, just be there on that following wednesday, we could pick it up before 7:00 p.m. and we could pay the deposit on that day. I asked a bunch of follow-up questions to make sure we were getting the right washer and dryer, to make sure everything was in place, and she said we were good to go see you next week. Next week came, I called to make sure the washer and dryer came in and we could pick it up and they acted like they didn't know who we were. They were saying that my husband's name wasn't even in the system, when he filled out his online application he showed it to the girl we did all the steps that she told us were necessary to get the washer and dryer ordered and ready for pick up one week later. Then she tried to say that we went to Arab Aaron's, we live in Boaz, why would we drive all the way to arab? Anyway, they had every excuse in the book as to why it wasn't their fault but it was our fault so we went to Lowe's. We paid cash for a really good washing machine. We're really happy with our purchase. I'm glad it didn't work out because I didn't feel like getting financially raped. Next month we are going to buy the matching dryer from Lowe's, where we were treated with a lot of respect and they have great customer service.
Rating a 3, very good customer service when initial application is in, have never had any issues in the last about 4 years with the Albert ille location , did get a table though last month and I started seeing roaches after it was delivered, have since had to spend money to get rid of said roaches, ewwe. They need to clean and treat the store, most def. They worked very well and put the customer fist in my situation, Courtney was amazing, thank you. I would give higher rating but the roaches and when I got the table it had a chair messed up, no biggie but it's a month later and not been replaced yet, and all the chairs messed up in some way. They are working with me on this though. I will update as I can and give higher if they can fix the table issue. . Only store I trust the people that work there are reat! Stuff happens sometimes .
We currently have a refrigerator we are buying that we have had sense last summer..they have never had to chase us. We have never been over a couple days late. They came to my house and added another $13 on top of the late fee...if I hadn't already paid as much as I have I would give it back! I will never get from them again, at the time they had what I wanted and Weathers didn't..I should have waited!
The staff members are extremely nice. I don't think I'll buy appliances/furniture from anyone else. I had ordered online a washer and dryer but it turns out my order had gotten lost but I still paid for it. When I called to complain about where my washer ans dryer was, the staff was super understanding and sent me another washer and dryer that was newer and nicer than the one I ordered. I definitely recommend Aaron's!
