I have not rented from them, but have to give them props for being so pleasant while slammed with a long line of Amazon returns!
Stopped in to do an Amazon return... UpS and Fedex are now charging for drop offs... So RAC increased foot traffic by adding this return drop off service... Less packages as they box up multiple items.
So this place is a new Amazon drop off place for RETURNS. . . Limited parking near the door since they have two big trucks parked in the way, not the most helpful staff behind the counter, and no receipt(!) is given. This means you have zero proof of your drop off, which is completely unacceptable, especially for big ticket items. Hope they get their act together soon.
This review is for Amazon return services - I failed to get the name of the 2 gentlemen working today but they were awesome! Very helpful, friendly, and kind. I had brought in like 10-15 items to return because I was saving them all up for the next time I drove into Oly, but to my surprise, Rent-A-Center popped up as a return option in Shelton now (AMAZING)! I felt bad about bringing in so many but the guys working were SO nice, great attitudes, and worked well together tag-teaming all the scanning/labeling, etc. I’m sure it’s been quite a change for employees once they started doing Amazon services, and I just want you to know I appreciate you guys and your great customer service. 5 stars with this business and employees!
December on 12/8 I called in to make a payment and at that time requested the items be picked up as I was moving out. They were being returned to the store and therefore only a partial payment was authorized and acceptable. Your store employees scheduled pick up for 12/16 as that was the soonest available and prior to the 12/20 move out date. Upon arrival I questioned why a full payment was taken and he said he wasn’t sure and would address it when he returned to the store. I called in and spoke to him again this month and he now says “ well it’s been over a month I can’t do anything about it now”. Absolutely NOT. I asked for the corporate contact information he says well let me see what I can do and I’ll get back to you. It has now been over two weeks with no communication and no return of the 2 week over charge. Kristen never could get the billing corrected initially as I had my set changed out but somehow the monthly payment didn’t change and the in store credits never were applied. I’m glad to have switched stores now and have had no issues since.
Hands down the best service one could ask for! James and the other guy where awesome.
Great fast easy credit application with in minutes decision also if approved or not. Web site simple to navigate your way from the beginning to the end of your order. No headaches when done and wishing you hadn't even pressed begin.
