My experience with Rent-A-Center was absolutely terrible and completely unprofessional. From the moment I walked in, the employee had a rude attitude and treated me with disrespect for no reason. She immediately asked for a Social Security Number, and when I told her I don’t have one, she quickly said they couldn’t help me. That made no sense because I had previously rented from another branch without a Social Security Number and had no issues at all. The moment I pointed that out, it was obvious she had been dishonest, and her entire attitude changed. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she became defensive and even raised her voice at me. At that point, yes, I raised my voice too, because no customer deserves to be spoken to disrespectfully or treated like they are unwanted from the beginning. I came in ready to pay and rent furniture, not to be judged, dismissed, or talked down to. She then continued making unreasonable demands, including asking for the phone numbers of three friends and requesting a one-year Airbnb contract even though I clearly explained I only rented my Airbnb for one month. It honestly felt like she was intentionally creating obstacles just to avoid renting to me. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Rude behavior, poor communication, dishonesty, and zero professionalism. After reading other reviews, I can clearly see this is not an isolated issue. I would strongly recommend people think twice before dealing with this location.
This renter center is the worse they are rude the blow your phone up constantly every single day. They talk to you in circles. Miriam is rude even she leaves message on a voicemail is rude like you can it in her voice. I don’t see how that store is still standing. The reviews are terrible and obviously the management is terrible too, now the delivery people are cool. I wouldn’t be surprised if they shut this Rent-A-Center down in Woodbridge. They call your phone every single day like we don’t know we can pay our bill on line. They for 60 and $80 dollars now I can see if you was behind four and $500 then I can see them doing that but every day like that’s ridiculous like that’s harassment at this point. In all honesty, they need to get all new management and all workers or just shut that one down I recommend do not rent from them at all cause you’re gonna be very disappointed The customer service is not good. Renter Center got to do better because your definitely not going to keep customers like at all. Again if you don’t want the headache don’t rent anything from them just buy your furniture from somewhere else.
The most unsatisfactory store and service experience I have ever encountered. I selected a sectional sofa, but I forgot to take a picture of it. I returned the next day to take a picture, but the couch was gone. Apparently, Nancy sold me a couch that was already sold. This was the first problem. I spoke with Katherine, who was excellent. She helped me find a new couch and set me up for delivery. However, on delivery day, they were short a helper and driver and were unable to deliver my furniture unless I helped. I was told I would receive a call back in an hour while they tried to find help. Twenty-five minutes passed, and I received a call saying they attempted to deliver my furniture, but no one was home. I called and asked why I was not notified as promised that they had a solution to the problem. The manager said, “Well, Mr. Stewart, I had the lady from the store ride with the delivery guy to help.” I stepped out to handle some business and was nowhere near my house. I never received a call, so I missed the delivery. I called back and was able to get a second attempt, as they claim they would wait for my family member to pull up and open the door. My family member pulled up, and they were unloading. They asked if they could unload, and I said no. My manager called the manager, and she stated that the next delivery date is Thursday. I told her that will not work for me. You can terminate my contract, refund me, but this is so unprofessional, and it has been problems since the beginning.i canceled all services and they issued a refund so today i received a call from Miriam stating my payment is late how is my payment late i have never took delivery of anything from you guys and i can canceled my contract

Took my money, then had me wait over two weeks for something they never had. Called the store to find out it’s been sitting there for a week no call, no checkup about my product. Then say they can’t deliver to my address- no communication at all. Nancy and Katherine are no help and will talk in circles, making no sense or knowledge about anything. DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE
They are disrespectful especially Nancy ,Kathrine and the manager don’t rent to them they blocked my number they kept hanging up in my face and was arguing with me over something they did and I’m pregnant and they didn’t care I tried talking to the manager about what was happening and she hung up in my face too DONT RENT FROM HERE ALL THEY DO IS LIE AND THEY ARE DISRESPECTFUL
Robert and Josh went above and beyond to get my furniture in. They were so nice and patient..epitome of customer service! The ladies were very friendly! You need furniture at a great price, you must come here! Same day and next day service
