I had an extremely unprofessional experience at this Rent-A-Center Amazon return location. The manager was rude, dismissive, and openly hostile when I raised a legitimate concern. I inquired politely when they were gonna have boxes because they have been out of boxes every time I have attempted a return in the past 2-3 weeks. He told me he had them for 3 days last week. THREE DAYS. And just ordered more. I was told they were out of Amazon return boxes because “that’s Amazon’s fault” and that they have no control over it. However, if this location is participating as an Amazon return site, keeping the necessary supplies in stock is part of that responsibility. Running out of boxes because they were not reordered on time is a management issue, not the customer’s problem. When I commented that it seems like everyone keeps passing responsibility to someone else instead of fixing the issue, the manager became confrontational and told me, “Don’t come back.” I responded that I would return wherever Amazon assigns my return and that I would also be reporting his behavior to Amazon. His response was simply that he “didn’t care.” After leaving, I spoke directly with Amazon customer service. I was informed that this location should be accepting Amazon returns and should not be refusing customers because they are out of supplies. Amazon also confirmed that the store manager does not have the authority to tell customers they cannot return Amazon items there or to tell them not to come back. No customer should be spoken to this way for asking a reasonable question. A manager representing both Rent-A-Center and an Amazon return location should treat customers with professionalism, take ownership of operational issues, and refrain from making statements that exceed his authority. This interaction was completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the management of this location. This has also been reported to Amazon and the BBB as there seems to be a serious issue with contractional obligations
Listed as an Amazon drop off location but they put a sign on the door saying they don’t accept Amazon drop offs right now. They said because they ran out of bins. This made my whole return a living hell.
I’m never buying furniture the regular way again! I love Donnie and ms Jessica and my other rep I forgot her name. this Rent a center location will always be my go to. My home feels so elegant with the furniture I got there. I can’t believe I almost fully own an 86” tv. They have made my home so comfortable. The guys that come set it up are so fast and always on time.
Great experience with Rent-A-Center! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole process was easy and stress-free. Everything went smoothly and I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.
Jessica was a great help. She communicated with me through the whole process and was great help finding a nice bedroom set for my daughter.
Staff is courteous and polite. Always feel welcome when I enter the store. Just purchased a dryer. Will always recommend Terrell store.
