Staff is courteous and polite. Always feel welcome when I enter the store. Just purchased a dryer. Will always recommend Terrell store.

Update: DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Already in process of speaking with district manager but do want everyone to know our experience. I really do not like to write bad reviews but after my experience I'm trying to prevent it from happening to someone else. So my husband lost his job because he was sick and hospitalized, at first they were helpful but then of course we got behind and so my husband called the store to let them know the situation and a gentleman named Kent answered the phone and told my husband he understood and would like to help and said he could give us until the 25th to get caught up and we appreciated that... if we couldn't we told them we totally understood if they had to pick it up. Well a couple of days later we received a call from the manger who said the gentleman he spoke to did not have clearance to make that decision so they were coming to pick it up even though THEIR employee made a verbal agreement stating we had to the 25th, so of course this is wrong and decided to call their corporate office and as suspected the gentleman we spoke to said this is not how Rent a Center should conduct business, apologized and then shocked us by asking if any of the three employees we spoke to even mentioned we were paying for benefits plus and that one of them should of told us we qualified for help because he lost his job involuntarily and benefits plus COVERED that! That we should not have had to make any payment and claim our benefits we have been paying for!! So today they picked up our stuff even though there was help available that we did not know about. This store is awful compared to the one I used years ago. Why have someone who does not have clearance answering phones and speaking with customers making legally binding verbal agreements and then failing to mention we qualified for the benefits plus help. Not one apology from that store but luckily a very nice man in corporate is trying to help but we will NEVER use this location again! They need a refresher on management and to reread their benefits plus program policies. STAY AWAY! Use a different store!!!

Donnie is rude and offensive towards the elderly and disabled. I was hesitant in writing this because Krystal and the rest of the crew has always been great. My husband and I are both Senior Citizens, and the Account is in his name. One of our accounts has one more payment of about $69 to pay it off, and our other accounts maybe 3mths before we hit the 6mths mark. Recently my husband has been ill again with issues with his heart, so have I, and I was told that I may have cancer again for the 2nd time. I will have the results of my biopsy on the 29th of July. Because of our recent health issues, we have paid our last 2 payments late, but we paid them, late fees and all. I shared the personal information, because I wanted you to understand just how rude and disrespectful ‘Donnie the store Mgr is, and has been to me, because my husband has been too sick to talk to him, and my daughter and I have been taking care of the account. Donnie asked me, specifically, what is going on, that caused us to fall behind? And I explained to him in the very same detail listed above. His response to me, was that I could pay off the $69 account, but that he was picking up the rest of my merchandise 😳, he would no longer accept any more money from me, late payments or not!!! That He did not care!! And that He did not run His business on hopes and dreams!!’ I was blown away, and hurt. But I refused to let him anger me, and told him so. How does anyone say something like that to someone that just told you that they are waiting to find out, if they have cancer for the second time, and their husband is having health issues related to his heart. And then He decides that He no longer wants to do business with that customer anymore, He wants to pick up their merchandise, threatens to have Kaufman County Assistant him in doing so… Until I came to this page, and saw the other reviews, my husband and I going through so much, almost made me think that His attitude was just with us 🤦🏽‍♀️, but no, I see that He is doing the same thing to other customers. And that is unfair, bad business, discrimination, robbery, rude, whatever you want to call it 🤷🏽‍♀️. “No Donnie, I am not living on, ‘A hope and dreams. I am Living on Faith in God! For healing in Every Area of my life. And yes that does mean my finances. And I added a Prayer for You as well. If @Rent-A-Center Corporate ignores this message, I know that God, and the rest of the world won’t. And everyone is very aware of how you are treating your customers, and I am not the only one. Blessings to the rest of the crew that is doing their job correctly.
