I work nights and decided to go look for a laptop I get there at 1030 but was told there not open till 12 when the door says 10 and web says 10 and they where very rude about it

I tried to rent something from them. I just got a new RV camper and put it on a permanent spot but the information they don't tell you is they will not rent anything to a person living in a camper full time year round. Permanent address or not. I definitely do not recommend renting from this company. Their interest rates are outrageous as I have just realized. Paying $1,800 for something that's only $450 full price in stores seems like they are ripping people off. Yes you can pay payments but read the fine print. It's 30% finance fees and charges per payment. That's absolutely rediculous. They deserve to be shut down for not providing information on their website that is absolutely needed information to someone renting from them. Pure scam artist company in my personal opinion. They actually do not honor their insurance policies for renting products from them. Even if you pay the extra money for the insurance policy. They will absolutely not honor it. Charges absolutely do apply.

I have been trying to call the Store for 4 days about my rental agreement i had started almost 2 weeks ago to try to check in and havent gotten an answer not even a call back i call the store it rings 20 times then hangs right up on itself

I CAN'T SAY MUCH DUE TO THE NATURE OF HOW THINGS ARE RIGHT NOW. BUT I'LL TELL THE WORLD THIS. I WOULDN'T GIVE THIS MAN OR THIS COMPANY THE WATER IT WOULD TAKE TO PUT A BURNING BUILDING OUT. BUT WHAT SIDE IS I TRULY DON'T THINK, THE CORPORATE LEVEL UNDERSTANDS WHAT KIND OF PERSON IS LEADING THEIR COMPANY. I'LL BE MORE THAN FORTHCOMING WITH WHAT EXACTLY HAS TAKEN PLACE IN TIME. WHAT'S EVEN MORE SHOCKING I DIDN'T EXPECT TO GET ON HERE AND READ REVIEWS SO NEGATIVELY ABOUT THIS PERSON DUE TO THE FACT THEY DO RUN A FURNITURE BUSINESS IN THE LOCAL AREA. JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU WHAT GOES ON IN THE BRANCHES OBVIOUSLY IS NOT MAKING IT TO WHERE IT NEEDS TO SO THAT THE HARASSMENT THE LIES THE FALSE ACCUSATIONS THE HUMILIATION THAT HE BRINGS UPON HIS CUSTOMERS. YOU CAN HIDE BEHIND YOUR LIES. BUT DID YOU EVER THINK TO REALIZE. THE FOOTAGE WILL SPEAK MUCH HIGHER VOLUMES THEN THE LIES YOU TOLD PROMISE.

This store has no idea what customer service is

I don’t understand why they need my landlords phone numbers my landlord does not want them to have their phone numbers so had to cancel my order

These people are not a good business, they came to my house repeatedly harassed my landlord harassed my job all for $80. Conversations were had and deals were made about time frames and they did not adhere to agreements made. I would not rent from them ever again or recommend them ever my landlord is a 60 some year old retired army vet and doesn't need that stuff in his life. I'm sure they'll be back lash for me making this about this crappy company byt they charged $1,500 for an outdated TV that could be bought brand new at Walmart for $400.... I do not recommend these people if I can give them no stars I would and I've been going to them for years and I'll never go back to them again after this treatment from John and his little henchman that he has working for him

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The so-called manager, John Jackson, is hands-down the most unprofessional and flat-out racist person I’ve ever dealt with in a business. After talking to others, it’s clear this isn’t just my experience — he has a history of targeting white customers and treating them with outright hostility. This man doesn’t just call once to remind you of a payment — he harasses you relentlessly, blowing up your phone 10+ times a day. I don’t keep a card on file, so I physically go into the store to pay. Yet, like clockwork, the very morning a payment is due, starting 15 minutes after the store opens at 8 AM, my phone starts ringing off the hook. Before noon, I’ll have over ten missed calls from him. That’s not customer service — that’s harassment. The worst part? While my wife was literally in the hospital delivering our baby, I was one day late on a payment. Instead of showing the slightest bit of decency, John Jackson threatened to sue me and take me to the DA’s office. His exact words were along the lines of: “I’m not sure what money you make on the side, but you needa bring it to me.” Absolutely disgusting and beyond inappropriate. Who talks to a customer like that — especially in a moment like that? This store is a disgrace, and John Jackson is the reason why. He has no respect, no professionalism, and no understanding of basic human decency. Do yourself a favor: stay far away from this Rent-A-Center. There are plenty of other places where you can rent or buy furniture and appliances without being harassed, insulted, and threatened.
