Don't waste your time! They will rip you off! I was set up for autopay and they was charging me extra and then said it wasn't them when it clearly says on my bank statement rent a center.
Stopped in with no intentions of really getting anything even though i’m in need of new furniture. I have rented multiple items from RAC (Johnstown, PA) in my previous years and had great experiences everytime, so I figured i keep my options open. RAC Chambersburg, PA is an absolute dump. The first thing that threw me off is not one sales person was on the floor for even a greet. Me and my husband casually walked the whole show room floor before someone asked if we needed any help. I don’t think there was one piece of furniture that didn’t look like it came straight from someone’s house and placed. back on the show floor. Stains, crumbs, scratches, worn in cushions and pillows. None of the furniture was “Hey buy me” condition. I refused to sit on any of it to even try it out. We didn’t take much notice to the tables or washers like i said we were there for furniture. BUT I did venture to one of the refrigerators. Looked very clean on the outside I opened it and didn’t even need a look the smell was horrid. I almost threw up in the store. Finally one gentleman came from the office and said sorrry about the wait by that time we were running out the store. EVERYTHING LOOKED LIKE TRASH, and Bug infested.
Overpriced items pathetic people they try to break into your home whenever your not home they talk about you while on camera recording I got video of them trying to open my door and trying to open my car door of my personal vehicle I got video of them pounding so hard that they nearly broke my door off the hinges I will be calling the main customer service hotline and going somewhere else with my business from now on I will no longer do business with rent a center after they tried to break into my home they can have there stuff and shove it where the sun don’t shine I will also be filing reports with corporate office and sending all videos over to them as well and sending them all proof of how these guys we’re talking bad about my house my bills and talking about my property I bought and paid for rent a center is a total scam buyer beware there pieces of crap to deal with and bad business people don’t I REPEA DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RENT A CENTER VERY BAD PLACE AND THEY ARE SO DISRESPECTFUL AS WELL they disrespect my neighbors and my house don’t ever expec Me to do business with them ever again stay away from rent a center don’t do business here again I will be having someone contact then to pickup there bull crap they Harrass you over $6 if your short $6 they will call everyday to you get it to them store manager a is pathetic for letting his employees disrespect people like this the storage manager doesn’t care either he allows it to happen
Go on down see these guys Robert has been helping me out and he is doing amazing these people take customer service to a new level they didn't have my item in stock so they are going to a another store to get my item this is absolutely amazing of these people to do plus there delivering it this place will deffinetly get my business more and more I look forward to doing more business with them again thank you again shout out to Robert as well thank you for your help today u deserve a raise great work 5 out of 5 stars customer service is excellent no words to explain how much this guy just helped me out
I’ve been having a bit of financial problems, last time I had to get it sent back and “held” they canceled my contract and when I got it back they made a new one charging me extra for the same laptop and making it bi-weekly instead of monthly payments like I had requested, come this week I am a week late and instead of allowing me to pay it when my money comes in, in two days they want to come pick it up and “ hold it” for me again I have a feeling they are gonna do a repeat of last time and if they do, I am done. Bad enough I am risking being kicked out of online college because they do not want to work with me and that most of the customer support at this store are very rude.
My new set of furniture was ripped being brought into my house. They told me I’d have a new set within a few days. It’s been about 2 months and still no new set. All the people I’ve dealt with have been very nice. Just waiting on non-ripped furniture
