Ok while I haven’t bought nor rented anything from this location In a long time, I read some of these reviews, and I’m shocked by what I’ve read! So I decided to write my own review from my experience. Pretty much everything in my home I bought from the Shawnee location! And the staff that worked there while I did business there were very friendly and kind and works with us! Kelly was never rude to us and neither was staff! We paid off our stuff due to someone toxic who started going there, not business issues with RAC, DM over this location is very kind and professional! But Rude staff never , and we never got bugs from there. While we haven’t been back to rent from this location it is not because of rude staff or crappy furniture. They did call us but if you answer your phone they don’t keep calling! So idk about the rude statements! Would I rent from them again? Idk it depends! But Kelly will work with you if you just communicate with him! And not avoid their calls! I had no issues with this business at all, as I said I paid off our stuff and just never needed to rent again !

Kelly the "store manager" will claim he will work with you about payments but they won't, they don't care if you work nights and just got home from work they will show up at 845 banging on the door with their store doesn't even open till 10 in the morning. They will claim oh we been trying to reach you about your payment but phone records prove they never called or emailed. They only half ass do applications when told this person needs to be on the account they won't put them in the account. They don't ever were proper uniform. They lie about the amount the item cost and will raise your payments when they fill the need a 65 dollar payment was illegally raised to 115 dollars but they want to charge someone's credit cards DAILY

The Shawnee team at the Rent A Center are very good use and disrespectful. I would not refer anyone to this location. They use their own personal cell phones to text you threatening text after hours and they will show up to your house after hours threatening to pick up your stuff even after you have already made arrangements or even if you are not due yet. We have never been treated this way by a Rent A Center staff. We have bought a lot of stuff from the one in Norman and when we moved to Shawnee they transferred the account. I would not recommend the Shawnee location to anyone. The Norman staff are very kind and courteous.

I gave this place a one star. They used to be descent. I got my washer/dryer set and my TV from them. I had a bed and a chair from them. Yes I will admit I was late on my payment a week. They would stand at my door for 30 mins knocking and I had a sign on my door telling them I was out of state dealing with personal problems and that I would contact them when I got back. I know they was at my house cause I had people watching my house and texting me and telling me everything. Then they decided to go up to my work place which I wasn't there I was someplace else (one of my co-workers told me they came up there). After that they didn't show up for 2 days. By this time I was so furious that I wanted them to come and get their items. A delivery driver which looked like her was 12 showed up at my door. I told him to come in to get their items and when I proceeded to tell him why he got rude, started bad mouthing me and my oldest kid. I proceeded to tell him to go and get his items and get off my property and he refused saying he felt unsafe. So for him to get the items he wanted law enforcement there. While waiting for law enforcement he called 2 other men that worked for the company. Law enforcement arrived and they tried to say I stole the items and threatened him. I didn't know that telling him to go get his items and get off my property was a threat and was considered stealing. When the other men showed up (don't know who they was) but we had no issues with them. They was more professional than he was. To me he should not be working with the public with a attitude like that I know I will never do business with them again. I suggest you better make sure y'all make y'all payment the day it's due no matter what you got going on or if your even on your death bed because they don't care and will do whatever it takes apparently to get their money or their items. It sad when a bank takes longer to repo a vehicle but they start banging on your front door for 30 mins or longer, get rude and bad mouth you for a couple of pieces of furniture. Ridiculous. He was out of line. He should of kept his mouth shut went in and got the items and left. But no he got a hot head, a attitude, and thought he was in the right by bad mouthing and accusing me of stealing.
