Absolutely terrible. I searched high and low for the right couch and finally found one on rent a center I liked, ordered it, and they came and said it wouldn’t fit through the door. They promised the next one I found would fit. When I ordered it and it came, that one didn’t fit either even though they said they measured. I had to end up picking something that wasn’t even really my first pick, not even the color or style I wanted. I communicated that we were going through something and wouldn’t be able to make a payment on time, and just needed a small extension. No one responded. Then, the day after it was due, they came to my door and started banging on it when I wasn’t home. Then, they grabbed the door handle and tried to get into my apartment. My neighbors noticed, and called the police because they thought someone was trying to break into my apartment. Not only did they bang on the door, twist the handle to get it, but they also started looking through my window. Unacceptable. I tried to communicate my concerns, but no one really cared to listen. Then, when I went to submit the payment, it took it out of my account but they said they didn’t receive it. So I had to call the bank to have it reversed, and then yesterday couldn’t pay it again because their website was down. This afternoon, I went to leave my apartment and they blocked my car in and told me I couldn’t leave my house until they took payment. Literally refused to leave until they took the payment. When I called the store to speak to a manager, I spoke to Molly, who was incredibly rude on the phone and ended up either muting herself and not speaking back, or just disconnected the line. I’m incredibly disappointed in how rude they are. I’m a super understanding person, but this was beyond not okay!

I would like to share my experience at this particular location the staff were very friendly attentive, I would recommend them to everyone they have a huge selection of items in there store as well one of the best ones I have been to very nice store.

The employees are so rude, the delivery guy Dan has the personality of a rock. If you miss your payment on the day it’s due they are sending someone to your door to get the item. I searched high and low to get a new refrigerator so I didn’t have to continue to give them my money. I will never shop Rent a center again, I will just go without.

I appreciate the opportunity to purchase items with payments instead of cash upfront. It is also nice being treated equal and not looked at as less because of credit score alone. Team members were and continue to be very helpful.
