BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS. GREAT STAFF, LOW PAYMENTS JUST A GOOD PLACE TOO SHOP!

After reading these reviews whew!!! Obviously no one is fixing the situation in headquarters! Glad i went with my intuition when don called to deliver furniture i got a really bad vibe from his condescending and unprofessional attitude! Glad he canceled my order because after reading these reviews he doesn't deserve my business! Hopefully rent a center headquarters can find a decent and professional store manager in the future. Try Aaron's, furniture fair, Badcock, buddys, or anywhere but here! Beware!!! Glad I didn't get sunk in the crap! Update Nov 10 they left reply to reach out about my experience lol. I did that on Thursday Nov 6 said district manager would reach out in 24-48 hours. I'm still waiting????

Not as good as the jacksonville location, on Henderson Dr. But still a great store

If I could rate this location and any rent a center less than one star, I would. I haven't purchased anything (for a reason; i knew about their unethical conduct beforehand), but my mother did purchase something. Luckily she made her last payment so she and I don't have to deal with their crap anymore. They prey off people who are low income and practice predatory lending - red flag #1. Red flag #2: they WILL call you and come to your house telling you to make a payment, sometimes expecting you to pay in full. Red flag #3: THEY WILL call your job and family members with demands. A man named Richard called me about a week ago saying "Tell Miss [my mom] to give us a call." He was extremely rude to me as well. And they also called her place of work. Not only is this crap embarrassing for the person renting from here, but it's also predatory. Leave people alone. Call them all you want, but don't show up to their HOUSE, PLACE OF WORK, OR CALL THEM RELENTLESSLY, CALL THEIR PLACE OF WORK OR THEIR FAMILY. If they are late on payments, trust me, they already know HAHA. And if you want money so bad, do not loan to low income people, or loan within their price range; it is called ethics, which this company lacks. I have two cards on file and it usually processes on the wrong card, so I manually go in and pay it the day it’s due. But before I can even do that I’ve usually received 10 phone calls from this store. I’ve been harassed nonstop. I missed one payment last week the 19th and my references have been getting phone calls from this store searching for me like I haven’t always made my payments. Now when I’m 8 months pregnant and actually need a break - I don’t want to speak with them because I’m continuously being harassed and feel uncomfortable. My husband will be calling to update this store on my behalf. I’m less than impressed with how much harassment and phone calls etc are made when someone is even 1 payment behind. I can’t even go 3 hours into my day that a payment is due, without receiving phone calls from this store.

I called the store and was told that I was blocked out of the system for failure to pay, which couldn’t be true because I’ve only gotten a desktop from them before and it was returned when I could no longer make payments and because I had paid off so much of it I was given a voucher for about $200 for the next time I would be ready to purchase something from them. Today I accidentally made an order for a desktop and it goes through. So I am confused to why I was told that.
