Yes I agree I have been with rent a center on 211 for years never EVER had an issue when Derrick was manager but when Brian came all hell broke through. Now that Derrick is back I already told him he can’t leave again so if u had a bad experience before don’t blame rent a center there a franchise. Trust me go see DERRICK is there or anyone on 21- Middletown got your back. Much love

I have been a long time customer of the store on Rte 211 in Middletown, New York. I have always paid off my purchases either ahead of time or according to the payment plan. Never had any problems and was a return customer many times. My payments are due on Saturdays. I’ve been having banking and health issues lately and i had to pay on the Monday after a few times. Let me tell you, the employees over there start acting like mafia strong men. The payment doesn’t go thru on Saturday morning, they start calling at least 10 times over the weekend. Then one Monday they came to my house while I was at work. Now today, Saturday, I’m getting texts threatening to double or triple my payments if it is not paid before the store opens on Saturdays. I am so done with these people. In a few weeks I will be able to pay off what I owe and I will never be using that store again! If you are going to use rent a centers services, DO NOT GO TO THE STORE ON RTE 211 in Middletown, New York. The manager, Brian R, is the worst of them. For the future, my money will not go to them, thanks to Brian R.

I've gotten a few different things from here throughout the years and I've always been satisfied! I was able to get a Nintendo Switch from here and recently a Wirlpool portable washer! Everything is in new condition at a very affordable price! 10/10 recommend 👌🏼

I placed an order over the phone just before Christmas 2021 and was told that one of the items was not in stock and they needed to order it. First issue was that they placed an order for the wrong item, which they corrected after I called back the same day. I was told it would probably be up to a month for it to arrive in store. When I called back well after new years, I was met with a sour attitude and rushed off the phone after being told "We will call you when it arrives." Well it's now April and I still haven't gotten any call, no updates, no follow up, nothing. Oh and I also have been getting emails about payment reminders and payment confirmations for someone random persons 70" TV.

Excellent service and staff. Very thorough and they really take their time to ensure the client is treated right. Definitely will do business with them again in the future.
