What you can rent here
Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Stores carry furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, gaming, and smartphones on flexible weekly or monthly lease agreements, and like most rent-to-own stores they typically do not require a traditional credit check. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

Customer reviews
Just wanted to say thank you Rent A Center of Lapeer for the great deal on my sofa! The Lapeer Rent A Center Lapeer location is clean, has great products, and the Staff goes above and beyond great service! Thank you all for your help! Highly recommend this store! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tracy is such a gem and truly cares about her customers. As long as she’s there I’ll be returning for all my rent a center needs.
Every employee in the lapeer store is super helpful and friendly. The store manager Tracey is amazing. I have been going there for years and I will continue to use RAC.
Tracy has been amazing! She’s always been more than helpful and makes the process soo easy. This is my second time purchasing through rent a center and I’m only back because of her! Thank you!!
There are always so nice and helpful! Emmanuel is the best at working with people on everything! Tracy went above and beyond to help me work out a plan for keeping my stuff within budget
Tracy, Christian, Sara and the others at Rent-A-Center in Lapeer are incredible. I've gotten a couch & loveseat as well as a top of the line washer & dryer and the products very nice. When I had a plumbing issue, they sent 3 people out to check as my landlord was sure the problem was the washer, when in fact, it was the pipes but Rent-A-Center went way above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I cannot recommend this store enough! Definitely top notch customer service.
