What to Expect at This Store

Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Aaron's directly to confirm.

What to Bring

  • Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
  • Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
  • Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
  • Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers

How It Works

  1. 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
  2. 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
  3. 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
  4. 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance

Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:

Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

Life happened and ended up deciding up choosing to return my items so I could feed my kids. I set up appointment for return, they ended up rescheduling on the day of pick up. They rescheduled to after another payment would come out automatically. I called to say this isn’t fair. They put me on hold for 20 minutes, forgot about me, oh because a potential new customer came in and catching new fish is 1st priority. I called back when I realized I was being ignored to get yelled over phone at by Jeremy (I hope they record calls for quality assurance to hear him literally yell over a customer trying to plead). All in all, I will probably be at the food pantry when they are finally available to pick up. Stay away from these nasty predators.

Guess this is a mixed review. Hit what I thought was a deal on a bunk bed.. didn't know that this 450 dollar bunk bed would turn into $800.. made payments on time. Maybe a couple a week late. But this cash price deal turned into me paying double like everyone else. Won't do this again.. yeah not again.. thought if I made the payments like they said it wouldn't turn into almost double! But in the app it says that I'm almost paid off..

Horrible place to do business. No sooner did I pay off my tv and it now doesn’t turn on. Cheap cheap cheap ! They also will not honor their pick up where you left off! I paid on a couch for almost a year they took it back over 1 payment owed. When I asked to get my stuff back and continue it was gone and I didn’t get to use the money I all ready paid which was half! I had to start over! They are rude and obnoxious. They will also call their boss out on the street and force you to talk about your account in front of anyone who is there to listen. I have tried several times to contact this company and I’ve got no response. I don’t recommend them to anyone even when they try and put a sign up that says under new management! It doesn’t matter they are still a horrible company!

I wanted to get a living room set and I called to ask about it and the lady said oh you have returned to many things so we will need two months worth of rent from you. If I didn’t have so much put into what I have no I would have told them to come get it. So we’re the lady refused I want to rent a center and got a better deal

Been going here for household stuff for about 6 years, this is the last time. They took my dishwasher in for repairs and when it came back it was completely busted up. Which they had it for a month and kept coming up with excuses. When I called and had them take it back I get attitudes, talked down to, hung up on and they refuse to replace it. Trying to stick me with payments they said they would cover, a " loaner " dishwasher that's complete junk and was told it's worth $700 more.. yeah right. Management is impossible to get ahold of. To be honest I never had any issues like this before and when Jess was the manager she was always very polite I think I even returned to Aarons a few times because I thought she was super easy to work with. Never had these problems before. So unless you want to call corporate 100 times and be treated like crap, go somewhere else. No professionalism, no pride, just scammers.
