In the past, rent a center has treated us pretty good. The Jackson, KY store i visited started out good. Had everything set up for a delivery. I just received a call stating one of the references were unavailable, which makes sense since that person is working. The other reference I was told in one breath that supposedly they didn't know me, then in the next breath I'm told they couldn't be reached. My reference is a woman, so when they stated a man answered, I told them the spoke to the wrong individual. But then I was told they weren't reachable. While trying to figure out what's going on, I kept getting talked over, I asked if I could speak so I could figure out what was truly going on. Apparently the manager there doesn't like being questioned since he just decided to refund my money instead of writing down another name and number. Naomi, the sales rep, very nice. Whoever the "manager" was running his mouth in the background, worthless. Thank you for helping us decide to never use rent a center again.
