Amazing customer service. Didn't have exactly what I was looking for, so they found me the closest matches possible! Great communication.

I went in the store in search of a couch, found one I like and applied. They charged me a $10 processing fee. The woman who took my application told me that since I didn't go through with the lease agreement, the amount would be refunded to my card but that the manager would have to call me to take care of that. Several days later, no word from him, I called the store. He was very defensive and told me that everyone charges a $10 fee for processing. Aaron's does not do this. I applied and paid nothing. Bestway doesn't do this. I applied and paid nothing. Even though I didn't end up making a purchase through either of those, there was no fee. I was trying to explain to him that it was unfair to take someone's money for literally no act of service. I have never had to pay a fee to apply for a vehicle, to apply for credit cards, banking accounts, other furniture rental and purchase stores. Just to "here you go...here is my name and address"...there is no credit check or background check, so the fee I do not understand. I know they call and check your references but that's part of the job. It didn't cost them anything to do that. I don't charge processing fees in my work day to do the job that I clocked in to do. Regardless of whether or not they have a right to do it, the principle is that they took my money for nothing. I was not told up front it wasn't refundable. It was presented to me that it was to hold a delivery date and time, which they ended up telling me on the day before it was supposed to be delivered that it would have to be the next week because they were short drivers. Which is the primary reason I canceled the delivery altogether. I needed something for the weekend and it was supposed to be delivered that Friday morning. So whether they can get away with it is irrelevant to me. I'm certain they will keep my $10 as this manager told me in his exact words that "I'm not going to sit here and argue back and forth about it because it's not my doing"...which is fine I get it...but it's just wrong to do people this way. Ten dollars in this economy goes a very long way. I wasn't raising my voice or being disrespectful in any way. No foul language. None of that. I was simply voicing my concern and he absolutely did not want to have that conversation with me. So I did call the corporate office. I left a message. We'll see if they actually call me back. I think it was mostly the nature of the way it was handled and the complete disregard for it because it's such a nominal value. And the fact that the lady told me in no uncertain words that "yes, that fee WILL be refunded to your card". Very disappointing. Not just the refund itself being denied, but the way that he could care less was really sad.

Awesome thanks so much never been treated better. My CSR was more than helpful his attitude and eagerness that I got what I wanted was exceptional.
I rented a window unit air conditioner while my central air unit was not working. Quinton was the person who brought it to me and picked it up. He was a very professional, friendly and knowledgeable person. He was very careful so as not to scratch my window frame. Great doing business with him and Buddy's!
