Love my local RAC!!! I’ve been a customer here for a long time, and I love that it’s been the same friendly faces since day one. The staff is incredibly nice, compassionate, and truly understanding. If you’re going through a rough patch and need a little extra time on a payment, they will actually work with you. That said, don't mistake their kindness for weakness. At the end of the day, it's a business & if you don't communicate or make your payments, they will act like any other creditor, and they have every right to…. If you stay on top of your end, you’ll have a fantastic experience. We have a great professional relationship and I highly recommend this location! 10/10 💯

My local Rent-A-Center is great. They always do everything they can to take care of me and I’m happy with everything that I’ve gotten from the store.
I am really grateful that I was able to afford purchasing myself a new bed at a time when I did not have the financial ability to do so in full at other retailers. The staff were always very helpful and willing to help, which made the experience even better. I will definitely be looking for future opportunities to make purchases.
I would give a NEGATIVE 5 stars if possible. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I attempted to purchase a gaming laptop and never heard back after completing all paperwork at the Seymour location. I ended up calling them after 4 days and they said I would need to go through another location because their district manager said so, but they didn't understand why because this location(columbus) was in fact further away. I call the Columbus location and they also tell me... I would need to go through the other location which is the Seymour location I originally went to because they are closer. I explained that they had told me the opposite and the district manager had informed them of that... They then tell me, no, the district manager is here, she said you would have to go through the Seymour location. I CALL SEYMOUR LOCATION AGAIN, they said "that's weird maybe she changed her mind, we will call you back." I end up calling them back after almost 2 hours, I get hung up on because "the phone in the back isn't very good", I call back AGAIN and they tell me I have to put my boyfriend on my paperwork, or they won't rent to me? Again, reason was, I don't know why, that's just what she said. I work, fulltime, had the same job for 7 years, gave creditable references, and was treated like crap for NO reason at all. I had never gone through Rent A Center, this was a first-time experience and never again will I attempt to get anything here. The manager, district manager or whatever she is has no customer service experience, no common sense or decency. Save your money and time, because this place is an absolutely disgrace based off of customer service alone.
