Next time don’t let a potential customer drive a hour away when it says open till 7 and you arrive at 6 and your closed along with telling the person your open till 7
Great place with high quality merchandise and a great way to rent to own. The associates are friendly and ready to assist you with your shopping needs and any questions and are very knowledgeable. 5 Stars
I have been with Aaron’s for about a month and I will never return to this place again! Ashley is extremely rude and disrespectful. I called today to make a payment on my washer that I had got from them I had late fees and my payment which are fine but then I also had an in-home fee which was never discussed to me when they came to deliver the washer nor when I spoke with Aaron on the phone the day it was delivered. when I was transferred to Ashley today she picked up the phone said this is Ashley with a attitude I was like I’m sorry I was transferred over to speak with the General manager. She than stated that she is the GM. I started to let her know about this in home fee that I wasn’t gonna pay for because I never knew anything about it nor did I have someone come to my home. She said oh it’s in your contract when you don’t answer your phone or call us back we send out someone to your home and charge a $10 fee. OK it’s in my contract, but my contract wasn’t discussed with me it was here you sign this that’s it we drop off your washer. It was done and over with. when I told her that the fee could be waved due to the circumstance, She wanted to say no I’m not doing that saying you’re not gonna tell me what I’m gonna do. I wasn’t telling her what to do at all! I was saying is she has the option to wave that fee considering it was never discussed, and it was never told that it was even in the contract from the start. when I asked for her manager‘s name she was like I’m the GM. I am the general manager of this entire store. I said well there’s always somebody above you so she said I will give my managers number then put the phone down. You can hear her and her coworker, laughing and talking about me saying ahah she can sit there and wait now she can deal with my manager. she picked up the phone and I said you guys are funny thinking that I could not hear you talking about me laughing and sitting there saying oh I can wait and I definitely can deal with your boss. She then lied saying that she wasn’t talking about me that there’s other people in building. I was like yeah there’s other people but you clearly were talking about me when you’re saying I can wait and I can deal with your boss. I told her she is very unprofessional I was like I’m an assistant manager myself. I was like that is not the way you speak and deal with customers. So on I called the number she gave me. A lady by the name of Debbie answered. She was very apologetic and helpful. She sent an email over to the owner of the Danville stores. She told me that he will get back to me as soon as possible and that if she could find out anything more that she would give me a call back. So on Her boss had called me a few hours later the (OWNER) he was extremely rude and disrespectful just as well. I see where they get it from. He called me a liar saying that they did discuss that in Home fee with me and I said, sir, no they did not. He kept cutting me off. I couldn’t even finish telling my side of the story before he cut me off and kept calling me a liar about this in-home fee. I was like it would be different if it was discussed I would have no problem paying this $10 fee, but it was not so I will not pay it Ashley refused to take my payment and so did the owner of Aaron’s. It’s was refused twice in the same day by the GM and the owner. He than told me that I was going to steal their product from them which I have been a customer with Rent-A-Center as well for about three years and I don’t have any issues with them. I only went through aarons because they didn’t have a washer that I needed through Rent-A-Center. The (OWNER) wouldn’t even answer my question when I said is this how you treat your customers??? And he said we wouldn’t be in business if it wasn’t for customers like you and I was like what it that supposed to mean and he stated customer that dont pay their payments. I told him what do you think I have been trying to do???? Pay my payment!!! The issues is with that $10 in home fee that was never discussed or told about and your nasty employees.
Never ever rent from this place! They charge a lot more than buying one right out from somewhere else as well as their repo people cut hoses out of spite when taking their stuff like they did to my relative in the Heights a couple months back I found out when it was time to help put in another recently. Yes it is your washer,but don't be a jerk cutting hoses that could have been reused!
