Rent-A-Center

This place is horrible. I have an item I’m renting for $25 a week. It’s due on a Saturday, they will call me at least twice that day for the payment. There’s not one time they have not gotten there payment. They have to be real desperate to stalk someone for $25.

Was not greeted by any employees. One looked at me and just put their head back down. I said hi and he just looked at me and put his head down again. Then I said oh sorry you must not work here. He said yea I work here. At that time an older gentleman finally crawled out of the office while a lady just sat and stared from the other office. He then said "yeah what can I do for you". I said nothing and walked out. Do better. You represent a company not yourselves.

I am strongly warning customers to think twice before dealing with this Rent-A-Center location. I called with a basic question and was met with extreme rudeness, talked over, and then the employee hung up the phone in my face. That level of disrespect is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism. If this is how customers are treated before any issue is resolved, I can only imagine how problems are handled later. Customer service should never involve hostility or abruptly disconnecting on someone. Management seriously needs to address this behavior. Until then, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Would recommend for service due to the staff and delivery was awesome. Delivery was great and ahead of schedule. But I would not recommend this company for friends and family due to if you are two days late or a day, they charge you $10 so there's no grace period with this company. Not good

Highly unprofessional! Placed an order and was told that item was not even available. So the store manager stated she’d give the same item at the discounted price. Due to that I’ve been inconvenienced and having to go pay in the store. I could not set it on auto pay as I did my past item from a few years ago. She could not and still has not gotten the item updated to reflect the agreed amount in the system. Well, yesterday was a holiday, which the payment was due. I assumed they were closed but apparently they were not as they call to harass me about the payment being 1 day behind. They had already placed a $5 fee in the account and it has not even been 24 hours of the payment being pass the due date. The store manager Anthony hung up in my face because I became irritated that they had called me twice and was asking why had him and his associates not communicated or documented on my account. He then hung up in my face so when I called back to get corporate’s number, he hung up in my face again! Oh then stated “How about we just schedule a pickup then” as if that’s a threat or scare tactic! He should aware that they are not the only company that sells furniture. This is not the level of professionalism you would expect from an assistant store manager. The store manager had been very helpful due to the mishap with my account. Unfortunately due to Anthony’s level of unprofessionalism, I will be returning said furniture. I’ve only made about 3 payments and I can just buy more furniture from rooms to go. At the time they did not have the color and size I wanted but now they do. I’ve never experienced anything like this at Rooms to go! I actually shop with Rent A center when I don’t want to use credit if I’m trying to make major purchases but I have learned my lesson from this experience!
