Store Manager Chris has really helped me out. I had to move to the area in a hurry five months ago. I didn’t have trucks and friends to move furniture and I couldn’t miss work to move in to my new place. Chris set me up with a 75” Samsung TV, a nice huge couch and nice bedroom set and had it all delivered and set up in my new 2nd floor apartment while I was at work. They have very good prices on everything they offer, especially if you pay it off within six months. Today I paid off the remaining balance so I would only have to pay the six months same as cash. Thanks Chris.
I left a 5 star on the highland road location too bad they closed. The manger at this specific location, Chris has lost his Petunias !! he is a disrespectful and rude bill collector. A manger, treats people with respect, that’s a word he doesn’t know. The only bonus he needs this year is a customer service class. After thousands of dollars paid off in an array of goods, he couldn’t work with me on a piece of 💩 amount that he called substantial. This man should have the title of aggressive bill collector, because he puts his whole back and neck into it you would think he owns the store. He takes missed payments personal and even accused me of mistreating him for the past due amount. I understand his position, but the way he comes at people is side ways. The other workers and the actual store I have no complaints on, very helpful staff, unhinged manager. Last time I do business with them and I even earned platinum member ! Wondering how I got that title with Chris threatening to throw the cops on me!! Never again !!
I have been dealing with Rent A Center for the past three weeks, and I am beyond frustrated. They have repeatedly stood me up for scheduled mattress pickups, and each time, I was assured that they would come, only to be let down. Their customer service has been unhelpful and, at times, quite rude. The lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and will not be recommending them to anyone.
I first called on the phone and talked to Chris. He asked me to ask for him when I came in. I had an experience at Aaron’s Rent-A-Center which was horrible and needed a bed replacement ASAP due to the Thanksgiving holiday it wasn’t likely Chris was very courteous and went out of his way to make sure that my son and I were very happy before the holiday. My son had just come in from college from the airport and needed a bed for his room. Chris went out of his way to have an employee deliver the bed that same day which Me and my son are very grateful for wonderful company. They really make you feel like you matter and they care I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Definitely recommend.
Refused to help me after signing my contract & making my payment. Told me they wouldn’t serve me or do business because I have a residence in Tampa as well as Largo. Makes no sense to me. Contacted corporate and they said that should never be an issue. Corporate contacted the store and they claimed they never rejected me. However I’m still without my items on the contract I signed and I still haven’t been contacted by the store as corporate ensured would happen.
