We got a lot of furniture from this place. Our reclining couch and loveseat were previously owned. The couch had one end that was sagging. They sent to delivery guys out to fix it and it isn't fixed. They had one guy sit in the middle of the couch while the other picked up the sagging end and shook it. It looked good until I put the recliner out on that end. It is still leaning. I spoke to someone in Greensboro about this and he said I need to send pictures. I gave him the pictures of how it looked when they first brought it but he wants more pictures before sending anybody out. We have been paying on this furniture over a year and we would like them to knock something off the price since we are paying $98+ per week for all this furniture. We are definitely NOT SATISFIED. There is also a piece missing from the loveseat. You can see the gap right behind my dog on the couch.
Great employees but terrible financial guidelines and understanding towards customers.
I have been satisfied with service all along. My problem is with the website. It has not been working in month's to be able to make payments. Is there a reason for this? Have reported the problem for the 3 months Im back with the same problem unable to make online payments. I have tried calling number listed on web site and called in to store asking for a corporate number? No one answers the phone nor will a phone call be returned. Considering the amount of turn over in those stores I would prefer to take my chances online. Is there a legitimate reason its still not working and if so why not take down banner offering online payments.
I was able to find a perfect chest for my daughter's room!!!! The price was great, the customer service was great &everyone in the store were friendly and willing to help!!! My delivery guy Mark was awesome!!! Today he happened to be working solo but he was able to maneuver around the stubborn areas in my home and place the chest in the exact place I wanted it!!!! I couldn't be happier with my experience from start to finish!!! Lol 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Good friendly service throughout. Michael the store manager is very Friendly, Knowledgeable, Respectful, and goes above and beyond to make customers happy. I have purchased multiple items since 2015 (very satisfied). I am Happy With All my Purchases. Fantastic service all round, delivery at stated time, delivery men very respectful and helpful. I’ve had several furniture pieces purchased from this location. I also moved multiple times within my lease and they didn’t hesitate to relocate my things. Wray and his staff do a wonderful job working with your needs and your situation!
I loved working with this store. Wray made sure that I got exactly what I wanted and took his time to make sure I was happy. He even helped me figure out the best way to set everything up. I love my new furniture and will definitely be buying from them again.
I've noticed a lot of changes with this location lately. I've been a customer since before it was modern home back when it was Buddys. It's convenient when you can't afford to buy whatever it is you're wanting up front. Although they do have a high turnover rate, usually they have some pretty good employees. Al and Quentin are great! In the years that I have been a customer, occasionally I would have to pay late because of a payroll switch or something, but they never really harass me about it because they knew I was good for it. But, lately things have gone downhill. Not too long ago I got a bedroom set and had great payment history. But with the new manager, the first time I paid late I received like three or four phone calls in one day starting at 9 in the morning and then a nasty attitude to the point that I got me upset and I'm a very cheerful person. And the last week, I decided to give it another try and I decided to get a dinette set from there. They told me they would have it delivered in a certain amount of time. I had to call the store to find out where my set was after the time it passed, and all I was told was that they had new employees who were behind schedule. An hour later at almost 8pm another person from the store called and offered a quick apology saying that they would be out the next morning not really caring that I had already thrown out my old dinette set and needed it that day. Originally I chose modern home because they had better selections and better customer service then other rent to own places, but once I finish paying this off I'm done because the customer service has decreased DRASTICALLY.
I will never go to them again ive paid over 1000 dollars for a washing machine i rented from them it stopped working and they wont come fix it even tho its paid off do not go to them they is the worse furniture place ever.
Manager is rude disrespectful and wanted to argue. Asked for Him to call the district manager! I will never do business with this place again! I'm going to go to arbitration and contact a lawyer!
🤕I understand that there's the pre-sale personality and the after sale personality. I also am aware that managers have a role in the store. I originally had good experiences with salesperson. (The only female employee) But that didn't last. Upon morning of delivery. I was given a delivery window of 10am - 1pm The manager decided that the sales person didn't do a good job on my application. I found this out when I called at 1:30pm to see what happened to my delivery. Of course the manager is rude. 😟 Fast forward, the application is fine. Really 😟. I get my delivery 7:15pm. Only after I have been back and forth on the phone. Hence, I missed an entire day. The furniture gets damaged. Even the delivery personal are more professional than the manager. They take pictures. 😩Anyway I won't bother telling you the rest. But furniture returned and I am regretful I ever walked in the door.
THEY HAVE GREAT DEALS ! THE GUYS CAME WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE ! THEY SET UP EVERYTHING & HAD A GREAT TIME DOING !
Although there have been a few bad employees that were quite rude to me I must say that 3 employees made my experience with Modern Home a little better. The store manager Heath has always been kind and understanding of certain situations and worked with me on payments and times. Kevin was also always very helpful and was available for me anytime I needed to speak with someone about my contact agreements. And Toyia was always kind and understanding when she made calls
Wow this seems like a new store! The sales team is courteous and professional, making the whole experience feel like they really care about helping me find the best fit for my family and my home. I love that they have financing available for those items that I'm not ready to pay in full, but the prices are right! I'll definitely be returning for my next purchase!
I recommend that you come in the best in goldsboro it's a loving home environment Ruby is a wonderful sales rep so is Justin great employees go check them out you want regret
