I’ve been a customer through the Rent-A-Center since 2004 and I have the worst experience talking to the manager from Santa Maria Daniel very unprofessional, raising his voice at me didn’t give me a chance to explain. They messed up on my contract with paying biweekly and it was the opposite Daniel was Yelling at me on the phone.
They were very professional and courteous and said that they would give me 50% off on my next item( wink wink) jk, when there was an issue they were on it and were really down to earth guys. Thanks you guys!
I bought a mattress and frame cash since March when they delivered it they brought 2 of the the wrong frames I called them and they said that they did not have the correct size and that they will order me a new one and every time I’ve called they just say it’s been ordered if I paid over 600 for a Mattress and frame i expect it new this new team they have is trash steeling from anyone and everyone you guys have not changed JOKE OF A STORE. No wonder y’all ain’t corporate anymore bunch of idiots working there
Really bad experience. Anthony totally lied then didn't follow thru with what he said. Was extremely rude on the phone several times. Then when I called last said he didn't want to say something to upset me like I was the problem. The return policy where you can take a pause they don't follow up on picking up the item until your payment lapses. Then act like you broke the contract. So to avoid that from happening I tried the exchange program. He basically told me that unless I sign a contract for like 1,800 I'm out the 981.00 plus the 100 coupon from paying off another item at there store. When I said I called corporate and that's not what they said. He stated that there a franchise and it doesn't matter what corporate says. So basically I'm stuck waiting to call the number I saw on here for a resolution to this. And basically I was willing to pay the full contract and sign another when he lied and was rude several times on the phone. So I'm trying to not be out the money and continue with a new contract which I was advised they will try to not pick up and then go after me for the contract amount. The hardest part is trying to navigate thru the lies and come to a agreement. Even asking to speak with a district manager or someone does nothing. No return phone call all. Rent a center has had to pay out I think it said like 15 billion dollars. I feel they are still acting with the same practices.
We have been purchasing with RAC for the longest and it’s been nothing but a pleasure. They not only provided us with amazing quality products but amazing service as well. We currently had an issue with our washer after having it for awhile and Anthony the assistant manager was not only able to provide us with a brand new washer but also helped us tremendously on the pricing ! Fast service, sweet gentlemen who are always happy to help and quality products. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing with RAC !!
