How It Works

Great service, the girl that helped with everything, Marilyn, had answers to all my questions. Very helpful and friendly.
Great customer service. Also excellent online ordering. The only 2 things I am not happy with is- 1. It took almost 7 days to be delivered. If im correct on the website they say it will be in your home 2 to 3 days after ordering.-2. They brought me the floor model of what I ordered and told me it was brand new..... I know its not brand new ALOT of people use the floor models in store. Sure enough there was ALOT OF STUFF ON IT. So definitely NOT BRAND-NEW. BUT I still have to pay as if it is "brand new". All they brought was the laptop, the charger cord, and the security key. Also the had some one else's name on it..... This is my first time and honestly might be my last.
i had a very good experience when i went in looking for new furniture for my house. the employee marilyn was helpful and understanding of my budget. i would definitely recommend asking for her
I wish to give zero stars on Aaron's because the people here are all disrespectful, rude, immature, and unprofressional. I encouraged anyone with low income to not lease furnishings from here because they flat out don't care what type of situation you're in or you're forced into if you're unable to pay 1 payment on time (even if you pay the late fee). I was laid off and the only income in my household, I am a single mother and it's embarrasing at the fact the general manager here feels the need to get hostile towards me for missing a payment where I was forced to choose paying my monthly rent or pay my final payment to officially own my couches. I called multiple times, spoke with different staff members to find a resolution and instead I get a threatening call from the manager that I have never paid a payment on time and my lease was 24 months yet the 24 months weren't up yet. The general manager disrespected me calling me a liar because "So you're saying you have money to pay rent but have no money to make your monthly payment". I'm very thankful I just have one more payment because nor my family and I are interested in doing business with any Aaron's location. If you're low income I recommend you lease with Bob's Discount Furniture or Brianna's Furnishings if you're in Modesto. Your general manager should be embarrased for the way he acted I swear I've never had to argue with an immature grown man from a business setting. I got called names for being a parent, for making the choice of having a roof over my child's head over having "luxury couches".
I am a returning customer to Aaron’s. They have gotten a lot of money from me over my lifetime, unfortunately. I have bought multiple appliances, recently a couch set, even a game console…I know stupid right?! After this experience with the Modesto store , I will not be a returning customer. Let’s start with the couches. There was a miscommunication on their part and I got a call with major attitude that they were at my house for delivery and I would have to reschedule. I was already without couches for two weeks due to a miscalculation on delivery to the store so I opted to go pick them up myself. Did that. Shortly after the couch situation my washer went out. So I order a washer and dryer. Being a family of 6 I pretty much begged to come pick them up myself as soon as they made it to the store. Nope sorry can’t do that, we have no one here to load them out. Okay fine. When they finally came for delivery the two guys who delivered them dented the washer and broke off one of the feet. They decided to take all of the feet off so that it would sit flat on the floor. So the washer sat lower than the dryer. When putting the dryer in they scratched the door of the dryer with what I think was the plug. They drug the dryer across the floor and ripped up my vinyl flooring and then left. I spoke with the manager Lisa, who was happy to replace the washer and dryer and since I brought it to her attention that it never would have happened if she had let us come pick it up ourselves, agreed to come pick up the damaged ones and let us go pick up our new ones. All was good right? Except no. Apparently the brand new dryers only come with a dryer exhaust hose if you have them delivered and installed. Aarons has gotten thousands of dollars from me and my husband over the course of like 15 years. I will never purchase another Aaron’s item. If I can find another store that takes payments I will be telling them to come retrieve their couches and washer and dryer; when I fully intended on dragging out the payments and over paying through the roof if it hadn’t been for this horrible experience.
