WATCH YOUR CONTRACT LIKE A HAWK. I didn’t have to pay my first payment until about 45 days ish since picking up my item, but after the 45 days while making my very first payment I noticed that my bill was about 36 more then I discussed with the Aaron’s employee ( Anna ), after calling back I found out they enrolled me in some sort of Aaron’s protection play that was an additional $12/month without talking to me about it, and even with that gone my monthly payment is still $23 more per month then what Anna told me it was supposed to be. I have been an Aaron’s customer for years but after this dishonest event I’m probably done with Aaron’s forever, I usually have more then 1 item out and it only can make you wonder how many times they have done this before without me knowing. Shame on you Anna.
This is the worst spot I bought something at. They are constantly calling for a payment. Never in my life will I buy from them again. I gave a payment one week and they were asking for another the following week. I only have about 300 left on my account and already paid them around 3000 and they are still calling. I know what there trying to do, since I’m almost done paying they want to repo it and resale it to make more money. Nobody buy from this store.
I have had a pretty good experience with Aaron's. But, I don't have 1 complaint. I didn't have transportation to make a cash payment with them so a driver came to my house to pick up my payment. At my door my son gave the guy $120 he walked to his truck to get a receipt. He came back to my door and said that is was only $100. To avoid a big deal I just gave him another $20 to make the payment . My. son was certain that he gave him $120. The employee should have counted the money at the door. Also if you know that you are coming to collect cash, why wouldn't you bring the receipt boom to the door. I think he put that $20 in his pocket, but I don't have proof.
They said they would repair my laptop free of charge that I was paying for. They now have had my laptop for months without much info on the status of the laptop being repaired. They gave us a loner laptop after weeks of not even having a laptop for school, that isn't even near the same as the original laptop I was paying for. I've left a complaint on their site and followed up after their reply and they still haven't even given us a time frame for when the laptop would even be repaired or sent back. They are constantly calling for their payments when I dont even have the laptop I'm paying for. We even spoke with a regional manager but they still don't tell us a time frame. Obviously, their whole system is malfunctional as they can't even give me a date let alone a time frame for when I'll get it back. We even asked about paying it off completely to see if they'd send it back but they said even so they'd have to wait to see when it'd be finished. Terrible, never had to leave such a poor review for a company.
Love our Aaron''s store! Customer service has been fantastic the last 6 years!! My husband is blind and they go out of their way to help us find pieces, delivering and how much they show us respect!! It may be an expensive way to buy furniture but at least we are treated with all the help we need... in the store and through phone calls. Thank you all so much!
