What to Expect at This Store
Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Aaron's directly to confirm.
What to Bring
- Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
- Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
- Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
- Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers
How It Works
- 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
- 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
- 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
- 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance
Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:
Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

Bad Customer Service Store Manager and staff brought tv never set it up doesn’t work store manager keep saying send someone out to fix tv nobody ever shows up
Was asked to come into store online was treated poorly coming into the store by manager and worker would never rent from them cheap furniture at a high price
Sales manager and store manager have no idea how to conduct costumer service or knowledge of products they have on hand. Do NOT recommend this store location AT ALL. I originally bought a brand new 75" frame less roku tv still in the box and wrapped and it went black not even 2 years later. I was told by the sales manager that a brand new tv would be delivered. They brought me a USED, dusty, dirty tv! Yes the same size but not a roku. The sales manager then said, oh we don't deal with roku anymore. Which was never expressed the day I called for a replacement. I was never told I would receive a USED, dusty, dirty tv either! Then The store manager, who is rude and gives little man syndrome vibes, then told me to "read the contract" and that i would receive whatever "like" tv they have on hand. Neither one knows how to deal with customers, disgruntled or not. Who wants an OLD, USED, DIRTY, DUSTY tv anyway?! PLUS the 2 remotes they sent with the very helpful and courteous delivery men, did not control the tv! All Mike, the store manger said was "pair" them. HOW?! If they don't control the tv in the first place. All he said was he could look for another remote but just continued to quietly try to listen to my conversation on the line instead of putting me on hold to look for the remotes, like a creep. Made my complaint to corporate and hopefully my contract gets moved to another store. Then once finished, ill never get anything else from aarons and I'll never recommend aarons to anyone. Just because of the sales and store manager.
Upon delivery, they do not like to sign their Delivery contracts. Be sure to have them sign and date the contracts before Leaving After assembly. And be sure to document everything. Another disappointing review about Mike, who was appointed the store manager and should not be in my opinion. Disabled person I placed an order over the phone for specific items and do not receive items that I ordered. I spoke with Mike. He asked me to email photos that I had And that he would send someone out that following Wednesday and I did so, but he did not keep his word and send someone But no one came out to obsess the situation. He did not even respond to my emails. Advanced in several emails and asking for corporation information and he did not respond and this was over the course of a couple of weeks. Over this time. As I’m calling, no one is answering the store phone. So I started to feel like I was being taken advantage of because of my Situation and Disability. I finally did have someone call for me with me on the phone I did get through to speak with Mike And we discussed a time back someone will be able to go in for me and when My daughter arrived. She was told Michael was not there in store. When I spoke to Mike yesterday, he informed me he was there for some reason he refused to meet with my daughter. Now I’m wondering if it is not just because of my disability, but also because of my nationality And when I expressed this to Mike before I can even finish my sentence, he hung up on me. I should be Able to express how I Feel. I have multiple recordings of conversations with Mike and with other associates cooperating statements. I was on the phone with my daughter while she was there and I did ask for a 17 inch bed that I asked Mike for over the phone and the bed frame that I ordered For some odd reason, it states on the ordering form that I have that it’s a 14 inch mattress again And my daughter also adds for Mike to give me a call before she left and it’s been a week and he still did not call me. Someone else called Me too, schedule a delivery date with the wrong items again. It’s been three months Of me paying for I also said I did not Order. Is this even legal?
So not only did they go above and beyond they were very polite about the fact that I was probably one of the most difficult customers that they've ever dealt with. Circumstances made it to where several problems arose when they were trying to get me the dryer into the car they were nice enough to actually take it out of the box and try several different ways of getting it in before it finally fit. Astounding service as far as I'm concerned, because they didn't have to do any of that and because I drove so far they understood. I would recommend any time
