We purchased a new set of Continental tires and had them installed and an alignment performed in October of 2025 less than a year later and approximately 8k miles later the tires were completely worn out down to the wear bars. We had the alignment verified at a separate shop prior to approaching RNR about the worn tires and presented them with the alignment specifications. Each front wheel had nearly 3/4 of a degree toe in and the rear was similarly deflected. The vehicle is a 2021 with 68,000 miles and presents no bushing or other suspension related problems. RNR stated that they would take no responsibility for the faulty alignment because it showed in spec when it left according to their records, completely discounting the possibility and likely situation in which jam nuts on the tie rods had been improperly tightened allowing the toe to drift. As well as the eccentric adjustments that were also out of specification significantly. RNR stated that they recommend an alignment every 10k which we had not yet reached. And the resolution they offered was only to sell us a new set of tires. This is simply unacceptable levels of accountability for the work performed on a customers vehicle.
I had a great experience at RNR Tire Express in Beaufort, SC. Kyle took excellent care of us from start to finish and made sure everything was handled quickly and professionally. He got our tire patched perfectly and had us back on the road in no time. The customer service was outstanding, and it’s clear they care about doing quality work and treating customers right. I had a great experience at this tire shop. They were able to get me in quickly to inspect an issue with my tire. Although they weren't able to determine the exact cause of the problem, they took the time to thoroughly check everything and were able to fix the crackling noise after a tire rotation from another shop. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient throughout the entire process. I also really appreciated that they didn't charge me for the inspection. It's refreshing to find a shop that is honest, helpful, and focused on customer service. Thank you for the great work and excellent service.
