Customer reviews
Very easy to get rims and tires, awesome staff, and install didn't take long very happy with everything!! Will do business with again thx RNR!!
I recently visited RNR Tire Express to finance new tires and rims. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very informative throughout the process. I really appreciated the customer service on that part. However, I did run into an issue with their wheel bearing check. They told me they now offer wheel bearing services and said they would check mine. The technician who handled my tires told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my bearings. Because the noise on my car continued, I ended up paying a professional mechanic to inspect it. They confirmed that both front wheel bearings (driver and passenger side) were bad. I bought the parts, had them replaced, and the noise disappeared immediately — which means the bearings were the problem all along. So either the technician didn’t actually check them, or he didn’t want to do the work. Either way, it cost me extra money and time that I shouldn’t have had to spend. That part was disappointing considering everything else went smoothly. Overall, great customer service on the sales side, but the lack of accuracy on the mechanical inspection was frustrating.
Walking into RNR Savannah was probably one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I got wheels and tires and from the gate, I expressed that I noticed others who'd gotten wheels and tires from there, their tire pressure sensor light stayed on and I didn't want that. I was assured that would not be the case. When I left, the TPS light was still on. I went back and the young lady at the front desk (Kee? - the darker skinned young lady) said it would reset when I drove in for a while. Well, 2 days later, light still on. I stopped by the store and asked for a Manager, I spoke with Matt. He assured me that he would rectify the issue. After a few tries, Matt explained that on Lexus cars, they always have these issues. Welllll, why isn't that explained once you see that you're about to work on a Lexus 🤔 This was at the close of business so I explained to Matt that I was going out of town for my Mother's procedure and I did not want that light on. Matt agreed to meet me at the shop before hours and that he would personally get the issue taken care of. The next morning we met as planned. After about an hour, Matt explained that he could not get the issue resolved. I told him that I explained from the beginning that I did not want to have this issue. Because I had to get on the road, I asked him if he could assure me that the light wouldn't be an issue for me to drive to Jacksonville and back, I would come by when I got back in town for him to put my original wheels back on my car. He said they were only supposed to keep them 3 days, but because of the issues, he would keep mine. Welllll, that didn't happen so I was forced to keep paying for these wheels AND my TPS light is STILL ON!!! Fast forward a month and a half later and my rear driver side tire keeps going flat. I go to RNR and they tell me it's the tire valve stem leaking...why after only a month and a half of having the tires...2 weeks later, same thing happens to the front driver side tire 🤔 Fast forward a month later, I call and ask for Matt, I explain to him that I need my tires rotated and balanced, an alignment and I needed brakes. He said that if I could bring the car that evening, which was last Wednesday, they would take care of it the next day. I get a call saying the brakes would be $700. Astronomical, I think to myself, but I know I needed them done. I was then told that I had to pay for the service BEFORE I got the work done. NEVER heard of this at a business, but ok. I asked if I could pay for the service over the phone because I work in Richmond Hill (which is 30 minutes away) and I wouldn't be able to get there before closing. I was told I had to complete a credit authorization form. Because of being short staffed at work, I was unable to complete the form. I called and asked Matt if I could come by Friday after I got off and he said they would be there. I get there and am told the work has been done but because I was driving my Dad's car, I still had to leave it. I pick my car up the next morning to find everything has been taken out of my trunk and placed in my back seat...WHY? The pictures attached show a plug that was left hanging, the front driver's side tire is full of rust and at first, the tire pressure was not registering. After it registered, none of the tire pressures were the same. I'm not rocket scientist, but I do know that the tire pressure should be the same on all tires. Disgusted is an understatement!!! $749 later, I still hear a noise when I stop on brakes!!! I don't know what that cord is hanging, but it could have very well been detrimental because it was reconnected. Why is my wheel rusted, it wasn't that way when the car was taken there and why was my items taken out of my trunk and not put back.
My experience with R and R has been exceptional. Whether you're looking for bold, eye-catching rims or a more refined aesthetic, they've got you covered. For me, it was a perfect balance—these rims are just right. While the rims themselves look fantastic, what truly impressed me was the added value: when you get your brakes done with them, they include at least a one-year warranty, offering unmatched peace of mind. Their tire replacement policy is also budget-friendly, with costs around $20 to $40 if anything happens. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m more excited about the sleek look of the rims or the robust protection that comes with them. The mechanics at R and R take real pride in their work, showcasing a level of professionalism and dedication that stands out. It’s fair to call it Black Excellence in action. I'm still considering adding a lift kit—they offer competitive pricing at just $1,000. Also, the welcoming atmosphere doesn’t go unnoticed, with friendly staff all around. If I had one wish, it’d be for a BBQ spot out back, though I doubt Randy would sign off on that! In short, R and R is the kind of business you'd confidently recommend to anyone—from your pastor to your political rep to your cousin on the Westside. And if you need proof, I’ve got the receipts to show just how sharp they’ve got me looking.
Very easy and quick process! I purchased 4 new tires and got an amazing price. The staff was very helpful and honest through the whole process. I really appreciate them and love my tires.
