Review for Rent-N-Roll – Panama City, FL I had a very frustrating experience with Rent-N-Roll in Panama City that cost me both time and additional money. Before driving to the store, I called and asked if they had a full set of 305/30/26 tires in stock. The employee confirmed they did and quoted me $1,398 out the door, mounted and balanced for a set of four tires. Based on that quote, I drove about 30 minutes to their location. When I arrived, I was informed that they actually only had three tires, because one from the set had already been sold. Since I was already there and needed tires, I agreed to purchase the three they still had available. I was then charged $1,112.85 for those three tires. According to the receipt this included: $333.50 per tire (3 tires) = $1,000.50 Tax = $80.04 3% card/service fee = $32.31 After paying, I was told it would take about an hour to an hour and a half to mount and balance the tires. I left and returned a little over an hour later, only to be told by the manager that they had not mounted the tires at all because he did not feel comfortable doing the work. This was surprising considering Rent-N-Roll advertises that they specialize in oversized wheels and tires. The manager then recommended that I go to Pop’s Tires, saying he had already called them and confirmed they could mount them. I asked about the cost and was told Pop’s would charge $50 per wheel, and that I would be responsible for paying it because Rent-N-Roll considers mounting and balancing a “courtesy” rather than part of the tire price. Although frustrated, I remained polite and followed his recommendation. When I arrived at Pop’s Tires, their manager informed me that they could not mount the tires either due to the size and said he was unsure why Rent-N-Roll would have sent me there. They then directed me to Parkway Tire, about 20 minutes away. At Parkway Tire they were able to mount and balance the tires with no issue. However, by that point I had spent an additional two hours driving around and waiting because Rent-N-Roll could not complete the work they originally promised. Parkway Tire charged $92.54, which was fair for their service, but it was an additional cost I should not have had to pay after being quoted $1,398 out the door mounted and balanced. In the end, the totals looked like this: Original quote: $1,398 for 4 tires installed Actual purchase at Rent-N-Roll: $1,112.85 for only 3 tires Mount/balance elsewhere: $92.54 Total spent for only three installed tires: $1,205.39 On top of that, I lost several hours of my day driving between three different shops. To make matters worse, I later ordered the exact same tire (same brand, model, and size) online from Walmart for $192, delivered the very next day. That is over $140 cheaper per tire than what I paid at Rent-N-Roll. Mistakes can happen, but the biggest issues here were: Confirming inventory that wasn’t actually available Quoting a service they ultimately could not perform Sending me to another shop that also could not perform the work Leaving me to absorb additional cost and hours of lost time Overall, the experience showed poor inventory control, poor communication, and a lack of capability for a shop that advertises oversized tire services. Very disappointing experience.

Wow ! 5 stars . The new manager Caleb and the entire team are wonderful. I had so much trouble trying to find a correct set of wheels and tires for my wheelchair van. They were receptive to my problem , super knowledgeable and went above and beyond to fit my needs. Please go see Caleb if you need anything having to do with tires and wheels . The team is patient and will do their absolute best to take care of your needs.
