One star because they won’t work with me over the payment, due to being the “first payment”.. I’ve offered to provide proof of surgery just to hold off payment until the 30th and they refused. Definitely will not recommend them.

I really love this place. I know I pay a little more for items but the service is so worth it. And it's very convenient. All the employees are top notch!

I will never shop at rent a center again yall are theives I have fought with each of my account managers and the store manager with no resolution since 2022 in regards to a double door refrigerator that stopped working not even 6 months after getting it I was given a loaner until mine could be fixed 6 months later still a loaner so I fight the store to fix the contract to reflect what I have paid and prorate the loaner they did not do that I was told by Ryan when I called in yet again and questioned why I still had not paid it off I had a cheap cheap cheap loaner not even a fraction of the cost he stated it was supposed to be paid off in July 2023 as I thought called corporate and store manager refused to talk to them or give them any information asked for her boss was told by corporate she had 24-48 hours to call me which she did not she lied and said she called me from a google voice number I called every number missed and I wasn’t her she couldn’t even be professional enough to leave a message I want all of my money back not another product I paid for a refrigerator I dint even have 17 months past when it should have been paid off the store manager is the one who did my paper work now they refuse to do anything just keep lying I want them fired I have an attorney an I am suing you y’all’s corporate is a joke I have filed a legitimate case against yall with the bbb and have an attorney I want all account managers that handled my items terminated because I have raised so much hell over the past year and a half over a refrigerator that should have already been paid off the refrigerator I originally got only had 119 weekly payments but on my online account it states 151 payments y’all tried to illegally charge me way way way more I suggest you have legal contact me asap shut Jacksonville tx store down and fire everyone!!! No one does their job there why did no one fix this the many times I and my husband brought it to this stores attention and nothing was done except given the run around and excuses I don’t want another refrigerator none of y’all’s big appliances work properly the stove I purchased same time as this refrigerator does not even work and they never fixed it properly when I called the store about it before it was paid off such a rip off the district manager is just as bad not a single account manager fixed this regardless of how many times I got in their behind for over charging me I want my money back now I don’t want your funky non working items that is fact! And I want each individual account manager store manager and district manager held accountable for not catching this and fixing it the first time I brought it to their attention when all this happened vs forcing me to pay way more than I ever should have theft is real and y’all each stole from me my husband and our 4 sons! Yall will not continue to push this under the rug!!! I am angry I am mad and I will not allow your employees to lie to me just to cover up the mistakes made at your store I fought way too long with this store and employees to get it right but because I needed the refrigerator and had no other choice you got over so you thought I will not stop until they are fired and I have every penny back plus grievances for pain and suffering your store has put me through! So much for loyal customers right!! Did I mention I have phone records to prove she never called me until today from a rent a center number not a google voice number as she tried to lie and say!!

Lauren was super helpful and made the entire experience very easy. Unlike my previous experiences at places like buddys & Aaron’s. Will definitely be returning for any other needs.

Ryan is the best. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service is fantastic. The only thing I can think of that would make the experience better would be for them to fix or replace their card chip reader.
