Horrible store. Use to you could make payment arrangements and they would work with you each month. Not Lauren. I called to set up an arrangement and she said that they dont do that anymore. I said well when I talked to corporate they said to contact my store and that you could help me with that. She proceeded to lie and tell me that they are their own franchise and that they do not deal with corporate. Once I pay this off I will never rent anything from this store again.

So my sister gave me a Nintendo switch that she rented from them. It was paid for, we even have the paperwork on her paying it off. Well she gave it to me as a present. I took it to the pawn shop in union city, because I barely ever touch the thing. My nephews play with it more than I do when they come over. But I decided to pawn it off. The lady at the pawn shop called rent a center in union city to verify it was paid off. The lady STEPHANIE at rent a center came charging over to the pawn shop refusing to verify it was paid for, mind you we have the papers.. She had me come to the rent a center store to get the proof it was paid for because the pawn shop cannot buy anything with the paperwork from the company, apparently. So I went over there and instead of giving me paperwork, THEY TOOK MY NINTENDO SWITCH. said they’d call me within a few days with the paper work on it being paid for because it’s not in their system anymore. MIND YOU I HAVE PAPERWORK WHERE SHE PAID IT OFF BUT MY PROOF DOES NOT MATTER TO THEM. They STOLE FROM ME. Refused to give it back. And still refuses to give me it back.

Paid off furniture and now they are saying I still owe them now that there is a new manager. I know rent a center enough to know that they would have came and picked it up for none payment. I'm not the only one this has happened to after researching back on them. They won't get another dime out of me and I will tell all I know not to rent there due to scamming on accounts.

I’ve been with rent a center for 8 years. And my experience with Paula was excellent. She’s a very sweet lady she has help me arrange payments to get it paid off in 6 months . She good on calling me to remind me of my payments . And also other works in the store very nice and very helpful.

Absolutely love this place. The employees are always sweet and helpful. The manager always makes sure her customers are very well taken care of. And always has a smile on her face. And she never lets her having a bad day affect her work ethics. Much love for RAC of Union City TN
